Hi, i would like to grant specific users /group the permission for adding images from the gallery to a post. As Admin i'm allowed to but i cannot grant this to other users e.g moderators / staff. I cant find the setting in Admin panel for granting a user group these permissions. Could you please assist me in this case ? Thanks!

Hi, i plan to buy Invision Community software self-hosted version to run a download portal for files sharing and i have some questions: As i will need just Downloads app, can i buy just this module ? no need for forum etc .. I played with demo and i found that gamification system is great but I am interested in knowing if there is a possibility to separate the "lifetime earned points" from the "point balance." With todays phone cameras picture sizes will just get bigger and bigger. As people are, they don't tend to care about the picture size but jus upload their pictures as they are. To think that normal people will understand the concept of making pictures smaller is to hope for to much. Is there any way to automatically downscale pictures in IPB when they are uploaded? (I know that it's possible to set at maximum size when you upload the picture, but I'd rather resize them automatically – I believe in making it smooth for the end user.)

I saw many times this error in the last couple of months of using CiC and at the same time, ic.com is also not available apparently due to ic.com also hosted on AWS cloud. Today it went down at 6:54 for over 32 minutes and came back a couple of times in between, even when it comes back and the loads the page intermittently, it is really really slow with more errors like 504 Gateway Timeout or For the whole time, status.invisioncommunity.com shows "Invision Community Platform (US)" as fully Operational at 100% even after an hour of the incident which is incorrect. Only invisioncommunity.com (web site and client area) under status page…

I want to add some badges to users on our community, for example a 1 Week badge for those that have been registered for a week. Is there any way to trigger a badge based on just the amount of time they have been registered? I can see I can do it when they log in and check then but there are a couple of problems with that, firstly I want to use it to encourage people to log back in in the first place and secondly it will then go an award that badge to the 20k+ people we already have registered for more than a week 🙂 There doesn't seem to be a "New Users Only" condition?

Hello, I am looking for all steps I need to do to leave Invision Community. - have a sub domain set up, need to use that on another platform, anything that you need to do on your end? - how do I ensure I will not be automatically billed again? - how do I remove any and all traces of data from the past few years of attempting to build my community. and if anyone cares I can gladly explain privately to staff, why I wish to leave after spending money on this for a long time without successfully launching my community. thanks

I just upgraded my forum from version 4.5 to 4.7. Everything seems to be working fine, except the rank system, which now labels everyone as "Newbie," including the Admins. Is there something I can do to automatically adjust the rank/achievements for each user appropriately?

In the past I could view the number of views of a particular post. I have been somewhat out of the loop for the past several months (or longer) and haven't checked in a while and now this feature is missing. I use Commerce for subscriptions only. Store and Support are on the deprecation list. Question: can I disable the three modules in ACP that I do not need? And then still have my subscriptions run without issues? Thank you.

Hello, I know there was a ton of threads regarding a dedicated app for forums. Considering how beautiful considered and built Invision Community v5 is, as well as advancements in technologies that have since been developed and incorporated, I'm wondering if anyone is considered or has already packaged up their community into a dedicated mobile or desktop app. I'm an Apple person, so my references will be on that their platform, but for example... I stumbled upon the staff notes feature while searching for announcements. Looking at the help guide, the explanation does say "when moderating content..." Would it be more accurate to say "when moderating forums or topics...?" I tried adding staff notes with other content, on pages, on events, and no luck. Just trying to understand. Thanks.

I am trying to use Saved Actions from Forum app, but it seems only can be used by administrator? O I missed a configuration? Because I can not see nothing permissions related that feature. I have one Saved Actions created and it can be call use from Moderation Actions, but I would like my moderators can use it too.
