Most boards using various software like to have a list, under the active user list that states who has been online in the past 24 hours. A really awesome feature of IPB 2.2, would be to have this pre-installed and able to activate through the ACP. Would this be possible to add to the software? Many thanks, Daryl.

My host is going to upgrade their MySQL version from 3 to 5 soon, so will IPB 2.2 still be working after the upgrade ? I know IPB 2.1 is not compatible with MySQL 5 but I dont know if its now supported with the 2.2 version.

Hi anyone! :thumbsup: Due to constant requests of unregister in my forum, here's my suggestion: Unregister Tickets This feature would be a link in User CP, which will list in ACP these requests, where an admin will be able to accept / decline. :rolleyes: I think that this implementation is necessary for the fact of users depend on the contact with an administrative body member for such, to after this execute this removal, a time that would be more practical to have an administrative module for such. :) PS: Excuse-me by my poorly english, I don't speak english fluently. :huh: Cheers. :D

Well i know this has been posted a million time, but my thought is a little bit diffrent then others posted. Each moder have to make an installer with his own DB qureys, components inserts, lang bits adding and template bits additions. Well this also takes time to code, what i suggest is making a mod installer that will act just like fusoyas mod installer, If anybody dont know that installer by FuSoYa, then here it is: FuSoYa's Universal Mod Installer v1.3.2. I think IPB should have someting like that built in, this would ease up the mod creation. The installer doesnt have to do "File edits", just what Fus. installer does, with a samll addition of writting the instruction…

Not trying to get anything started again, just figured it is worth pointing out that so many bugs have already eben reported for PB2 that it makes it seem as if a public release is only going to make it mroe confusing, with many duplicates. Unless maybe those fixes are being implemented into PB2 before its release?

Hello, I think there should be option to send reminder for email validation, like there are few members who registered but not validated the account through email till a month then they can receive reminder for validation of account, after 2-3 reminder the account should be moved into a groub called Expired. Just pop into my mind so thought to post it :) Best Regards Hassan

Feature Request: New E-mail notification type

I like to have a copy of the post included with notification e-mails and also like to be notified immediately when someone replies. However, I only want to receive one email for each topic, each containing the first reply from that topic. When I revisit the forum and view one of these subscribed threads, only the threads I view will cause new notification e-mails to be sent when replies are made. Effectively, I want a new notification option which works in the same way as Immediate Notifications when a copy of the post is not included, but which includes a copy of the post. Currently, IPB will always send one e-mail for each reply when a copy of the post is included.

Hi there. I have a couple of quick questions regarding IPB 2.2. Firstly will 2.2 be able to accept skins that were designed for 2.1 ? and secondly we have a number of modules added to the forum ie. Arcade, Prison, Points system, etc Will there be any problems with these ? Thanks JoeM

Upgrade from 2.1.7 timing out

I chose to run my own mysql queries and after running the first set of queries it gives me and hitting next it waits a bit and then shows a screen with a checkmark and displays "17 queries run...." but then it continues to load the page but eventually times out. Clicking the click here if not redirected link has no bearing on the page loading. I have tried this three times with loading a fresh copy of my 2.1.7 board. My database for 2.1.7 is roughly 720MB and I'm using MySQL v4.1.21, PHP 5.1.6, Apache 1.3.37 (Linux).

Hi there I am curious to know if there is any feature, either in IPB or available as a modification, that allows me to change the display name length. 32 characters seems a little too excessive and some new members have decided to take advantage and create display names with all 32 >_< Thanks JoeM ETA : We are using v. 2.1.5

I dont know if its possible or not but my staff and I are planning our big update around the release of 2.2 final and we have made changes to the TOS. So is it possible that once upgraded all members are forced to re-login and once they do they have to agree to the updated TOS?

I use for the frst e in my display name a character from the extended unicode table, anyway when I receive a personal message the email notification reads as: Anyway it might be better to send out a unicode mail format instead of using the html representation...

I really really really.. I mean really dislike this submenu bar with the separator... What do I have to do in my skins to go back to original way.. Each time I do it.. it does some weird things and displace my stuff and add one with the blog and separator.. Anyone else dislike these separators??? Cheers PMarch
