My host is going to upgrade their MySQL version from 3 to 5 soon, so will IPB 2.2 still be working after the upgrade ?
I know IPB 2.1 is not compatible with MySQL 5 but I dont know if its now supported with the 2.2 version.

I've already got MySQL 5.0.15 & 4.x also but I always chose 5.x And it's working perfectly and smoothly... Tough I've got PHP 5.1.6...

Yes, some improvements have been made to fix errors with MySQL 5 & IPB 2.1, so IPB 2.1.7 can run with MySQL 5. Now IPB 2.2 will fully support MySQL 5 including MySQLi driver.
