Hi Been on another forum no names etc And when you post a url say http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...t&p=1485845 It automatically changes it to the name of the thread in this case Idea from someone else. I suspect it has a lot to do with search engine friendly url's but is it something in the pipeline here

Subscription payment options

I suggest a change to Invision Board's subscription process. If only one payment method is available, the user should be forwarded directly to that payment gateway instead of having to select from a list of one. For example, on my forum PayPal is the only payment option offered. Currently: A user selects the subscription option he wants.The user is presented with a screen asking him to select a payment option, of which there is exactly one (PayPal).When the user selects PayPal, he is forwarded to ANOTHER screen that says click PayPal to pay.Only after this additional click does the user make it to the PayPal web site.I recommend eliminating step two when only one pay…

Trash Can

Just a couple of small suggestions... 1 1. You delete an entire forum (which has several sub-forums) and send the lot to the "Trash Can" forum. 2. You then empty the trash can. STOP... you can't do that because there's no option to "mass delete" sub-forums & posts! This has happened a couple of times to me whilst re-organising my forums. I would like to see an option to properly empty the "Trash Can" forum (or any other for that matter) where it is possible to delete an entire forum (including sub-forums) with one click instead of doing them one by one... 2 "Trash Can Task". Seems this is something that hasn't been talked about alot, well i haven't see alot of threads in here to do with the whole skin system. I'd personally like to see a few updates done to especially in the functionality side of things for example with skin errors usually can be very annoying and ends up with running all the tools in the acp for skins to try to get it to work, sometimes i've had to do this a few times depending on the issue. Maybe make this more responsive and work more fluidly and maybe even have something that could pick up if theres a skin error and recache it automatically.

Universal moderator report center

I think IPB really needs a universal moderator report center where all the reports can be viewed and marked "complete" Right now the report system is very inefficient because all the mods and admins just get PMs for every report, and nobody knows if a problem has already been taken care of. This leads to a lot of time wasted between the mod team. If there was a place where allthe reports went, and the mods were able to access this "report center" and mark them as "complete", it would make life much easier. Disable "Report" Button for Validating Members

I just have a small feature suggestion for IPB. At our site, we have it set so that Validating members are not authorized to make any posts. Because of this, we often find they try to use the "Report" button instead. This can become extremely frustrating when you Log In and find up to 10 reports in your inbox with content like "Why is the link not working?" or "When are you releasing this..." etc... Would it be possible to add an option to the ACP that allows you to block the "Report" button for certain groups? Thank you.

Does IPS call you asking you to confirm your account number, login details and your credit card because I got call from someone that said they were from Invision Power Services. The weired thing is that my account here is in good standing order. My liscence isn't up for renewal until August and I got no debts on the account? Anyone know?

Paypal Subscription Problem?

As you can see the error message in my screen shot I attached what can I do to resolve this little problem? I have set up some different subscription packages on my forum and I only want to use Paypal. I was going through the process my self to test out if I have the subscriptions setup properly but I get this everytime? Is it a problem in the forums end that I can correct or is a setting I have on my Paypal end? :unsure:

Why when quoting a post or replying to a post does it ignore any old quote/replys? just something i noticed that happens here on ips and wondering why it does this in ipb and why doesn't it quote what your seeing as you'd assume it to do?

Reason for banning -- ban filters

I know I heard something about a "Reason for banning" thing... But I couldn't find it, nor do I know what it is... But it would be very nice if you had the ability to put a small note under certain ban filters. This would be extremely be helpful for banning IP addresses using the ban filters so other admins know why that IP was banned. Especially if you banned someone temporarily... After so much time is gone by, you forget why you banned it and it just ends up staying there.

Should I set up the "Licensed To" text?

Is there a need to set up The "Licensed to: Company" at the bottom of a board which is below the copyright. Does it make the board look more professional, or does it protect against something, or what? I'm just wondering if I should use it on my board to show who it's licensed to. But if it doesn't do anything besides place text at the bottom, I might not want to use it.

Lunar Calendar 1 2

Those of us in the Middle East use a completly different calendar to the Georgian calendar already interigated into IPB. I think the option to use different calendars (the 2 main ones are Georgian and Lunar, there is also a 3rd which is used quite a lot, but I can't remember the name) would put IPB well above the rest. I wouldn't expect this for 2.2 (though that would be great!) but maybe for 3.0?

Disallow: /forum/index.php?act=post Disallow: /forum/index.php?act=Post Not practical! I think there are other occurances, i remember seeing UserCP and usercp somewhere. Anyhow, it might only be a small suggestion/idea but they all count towards a better product! P.S Do i get a prize for the most boring suggestion of the day week month year decade?
