Last post info has a link in the index, and has link in the topics section, BUT the forum view for forums has NO link or ICON You can check by looking at the forums at the top of this forum page. By design or not considered yet?? Request: even if the last postinfo is removed through the ACP, i would still like that icon and the date of the last post ;)

Is the first RC always this bad? What I mean by that is, there are just so many errors after upgrading from 2.3.6. I honestly don't know where to start when it comes to reporting bugs to the the tracker... This is my first time to be around during the Beta and RC phase, so I'm just wondering if this would be considered "normal"

How do I find out what's causing this error? I have IP Shoutbox Beta and the Beta Tracker installed. How can I delete both the modules completely without re-installing my board? I'm using latest ff with IPB3 RC1 For some reason it's working again now?

I went here: 1. Tools & Settings >2. System Settings >3. System >4. Server Environment To enable friendly URLs but it's not happening. How is this supposed to be done in beta 5? I have imported a test database fine. All of the (thousands and thousands) of existing threads do not have friendly URLs.

Well done releasing IPB 3 RC1! You did amazing job! :thumbsup: After all hard work you did.. I think you should start charging people if they want to upgrade to IPB 3 Final for like $20 or something. I don't mind paying. If they don't want to pay they will have to wait for 1 year for free upgrade to IPB 3 (with IPB licence). Of course IPB 2.3.x security update will be provided only. Think about Marketing ;)

ACP > Look & Feel > Manage Languages > Localization Manager I copy a new language pack then edit it; Language Title : bbb Language Locale : zh-TW Display right to left? : No Default Language? : Yes But i link the board index, it still lock in the first language even i clear cookies of the browser. I can set the second language as default in ACP, but no works in the board index. Thanks.

I have noticed often that people get errors because of a wrong CHMOD when they move forums on another server or in similar situations. It would be a good idea to have a Tool in ACP to check if all the needed folders have a proper CHMOD.

Why is the minimum password length only 3 characters? I see no option to change this in 3.0.0 RC1 and 2.3.6 just allows any number of characters even a single character. :rolleyes: I hope I'm just overlooking the option to change this because it would be sad on so many levels if IPB really set it up like this.

RC1 on the registration page when adding a "Question & Answer", the input box does not look like the rest of them on the page, the text is aligned too far to the left (not like the rest of the page). Should it not be placed above the Re-Captcha also and not at the very bottom of the page? See pic

I'm sure a lot of people are in the same position as I am, I've been running IPB from 1.3 or so and moved my install around a multitude of servers, upgrading whilst I go. The site works perfectly fine, but there's a lot of.. well, crap in the database and ACP that should be cleared out. Anyone got some good tips on a good way to do an RC1 install that gets rid of all the excess files and database edits that mods and tools throughout the years have put on the system? Cheers

My forum has quite a few emoticons, and unfortunately the sidebar isn't wide enough for most of them, so it ends up being useless really. Is there a way we can make it wider? Or perhaps allow people to drag it bigger or smaller? I know it could be very difficult, but the current sidebar means that it's hardly worth using..

I have a support forum that has forums with a bunch of sub forums. I'd like to be able to monitor them all with a daily digest. I also have other co-workers that need to monitor these forums (in diff combinations). I know that I can do this but I have to go into EACH forum to do this. Is there any way to select a bunch of forums to monitor in one shot? Additionally (for the IPS devs) I'd like to be able to subscribe to a parent forum or category and have the option to be notified of posts to any of the sub forums. Even if that only means that it adds all the sub forums individually - but it would be nice to be able to subscribe to the parent forum or category and if…

1. i cant see it at the footer? 2. when you select a forum from the dropdown, you dont get directed to the forum? 3. in the ACP when you are at a section of the forum, and you add new forums why dont the new forums inherit the parent forum where you are at ?? good work so far :P

Hi, I've just been trying to work out why only 1 event was showing in my calendar's RSS feed despite the month being full of birthdays. I realised that the calendar entries for members birthday's that the Board creates are not included in the exported RSS feed, only events that you add yourself are. I think it should be an AdminCP option to included them or not. For my own application, I was going to import the calendar's feed back in as topics to my birthday greeting forum. Having this done automatically reminds eveyone its a members birthday and nobody gets missed out! :)

Ok, I did a fresh install of my board, just to save me any possible errors down the road, I backed up my old 2.3.5 db although I do have one question regarding that db. How can I only import my old members along with there usernames/passwords/emails etc? Is there a way to just do this? Thanks, you guys made it happen! Happy early birthday to me :D

when u change a skin it doesnt look like cookies are modified to the new skin, or is this just a FF3 problem? Been tearing my hair out on this LOL Also when you add a skin to a parent skins, the dropped down doesnt seem to be working eg. parent ---skin1 -----skin2 when both should be daughters of the parent

Hi Guys, Is is possible to install the older gallery/blog 3 betas with RC1 and then upgrade the betas to the relevant RC when they are released or is it better just to wait until those RC's get released. Thanks in advance Jay
