It would be great if 3rd party developers could pass a predefined subject and message to the forms used for sending a PM. I can see how this would be relatively straightforward for the full form but I'm not so sure about the popup form as currently the recipient is passed via the id of the link. This same technique wouldn't be appropriate for the subject. Any thoughts?

I use the sitemap generator mod on a 2.3.6 board. http://mods.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/5358 when I submit it to google the topicsitemap.xml gives an error on a number of lines. On further investigation I found that these topics have been moved on my forum with a link in the original forum. Has anyone encountered the same problem - how did you fix it? Thanks, Taff

So it's been a while since last I was here. Plenty of things have changed around here but what shocked me about 20 mins ago was the most effective and lightning quick use of the "close topic" function, lol. Granted I didn't realize at the time that the section I was posting in was not the proper place for me to be posting. Where then I ask do I pose my desperate plea for help if not at the location where I bought my forum? I gotta say that I nearly fell off my chair when my topic was closed. I've been working on the forums for a while and upgraded the board etc etc And I got this php error when I make a thread on the forum I'm not sure If I can get help here... or if im in the right forum. Help badly needed almost on my last straw :(

Attached Files in Posts. To have a feature that will resize attached images. (pixel resizing) We can adjust the attached file size, default is 2M, but have no way to adjust an image pixel size. Currently, members can upload attached images in huge pixel size, and in most cases when these images are viewed you can only see a quarter of it on the screen. A Data file will only ever be the size it is, but an image file can be huge for 2M. Some members just look at the upload limit of 2M, but fail to realise the image could be 3000x2304 pixels in size. Well I've tried and tried and tried.... I've chanted dozens of mantras yet all my efforts are to no avail. What I'm wanting to do is to allow my members to upload and download their game save files which end with a .sacred2chest. As an example the whole name would be chest.sacred2chest. Here's what I did in the hopes of being able to upload/download the file: In AdminCP In Cpanel Added the same Mime Type settings for sacred2chest Enabled a forum and some user groups to have upload/download permissions. It's a royal pain in the rear to have to type in the reason for reporting a post especially when it's spam. It'd be awesome if there were a dropdown and a free text box, with the dropdown containing user configurable canned reasons, and the free text box available for more detailed notes.

If I edit a thread on this site, I see in the "save Changes" and "Use Full Editor" buttons in full no problem. But on my site I don't, they are half cut-off. See the image attached to see what I mean.

I have just been reading over the IP.Content guides in the resource area. It's a long process, but I copied all the information, put it into a Word file and will be printing it shortly. I am still a 'paper' guy when it comes to reading a guide and really understanding it so I wanted a printed version. Now, I know these guides don't get updated that often, but sometimes people make suggestions and things get changed or added, and then there are times when new pages/guides are added. I got some suggestions for changes and futures for IPB v3.0.0 and future versions. [*]Requested changes: When viewing a profile [*]Below the users photo, there should be buttons similar to find topic/posts for displaying all gallery/blog/issues.[*]The following texts: "<username> hasn't added any friends yet." and "<username> has no profile comments yet. Hello, I am trying to figure out if its possible to limit how many times a package could be purchased by a user. Say, I want to offer them a FREE Trial, hence, obviously, it would be a limit of ONE per user. Then, they would have to purchase a package. Is it possible to limit a package purchase #? If yes, how? If not, could IP add it as a feature? (would be glad to get an answer or a confirmation :D) Thanks

you run a forum if over time due to intergration of invision and facebook the majority of your forum members end up with a facebook account and friends etc with each other will there not come a point where your forum structure has been replaced by facebook ?

Pretty impressed with customer service so far. Bought the whole package including 50 chat users, got an email this morning, very professional, got my conversion set for friday morning and all is going very smooth. This has been a major relief so far from where I was. Professional courteous people. Found security right away in a skinner, Olivier. Looks like I'm hooked. Glad I went with IPB over VBulletin. My Members also wanted IPB. Even better, I have a IPB wiz member that has used IPB on multiple servers at once abd administrates a very large forumj from the stats I got from him. Awesome.. Im excited to see what the morning brings :) Kind Regards
