srp
Hello, I am trying to figure out if its possible to limit how many times a package could be purchased by a user. Say, I want to offer them a FREE Trial, hence, obviously, it would be a limit of ONE per user. Then, they would have to purchase a package. Is it possible to limit a package purchase #? If yes, how? If not, could IP add it as a feature? (would be glad to get an answer or a confirmation :D) Thanks
Mark
It is not currently a feature... I quite like the idea though :)

IPS_Fan
Until they come out with that option for the sponsorship, just don't offer them a freebie. :D Seriously, my "trial" sponsor membership is still a $5.00 USD charge. I wouldn't mind how many times they purchased that one. :) Of course, there is also the option of them creating a new membership and doing it all over again too. So, that is something else to think about. That is one reason I set the "trial" sponsorship at $5.00 USD.

You may check the ips used in accounts, and warn/block/ban the user who has multiple accounts. (yes, they still could just use proxies to create and surf, but surfing the website through proxies would be pain in xxx. Not many would do it) Even better, the option of allowing 1 trial package per IP could be added to the ip subscription, which will make it a lot easier and much more efficient to control this setting.
