Show when the update was posted :). Some updates are obviously (somewhat) time sensitive, so it'd be nice to know how long ago a status was posted.

Check out some of the improvements we're making to the Status Updates feature in 3.1, your suggestion is there. :)

Ah, I read that blog post a while ago. Guess I missed that. Thanks Michael :).

My main suggestion, though, was to display the time stamp next to the current status (i.e. the one in the "yellow box" on a member's profile and pop-up card). Is that also planned -- I can't tell from the screenshots in that blog entry.
