How about a separate tracker for the IP.Board Mobile skin since you have one for Clean Cut so the IPB tracker does not get cluttered with mobile stuff and mobile stuff getting lost in the IPB stuff?

OK, I know you guys are not RTL native speakers but is RTL that mysterious that you can't tell if a search box is rendered on top of the forum's tabs under IE7? of course, I can report any issues I have to the tracker including those which if you fix for this browser, you gonna end up messing it all up in that browser. I think it's just about time to come up with a more efficient solution. because: 1- You can't just rely on the browser to overwrite properties from, say, ipb_styles with ipb_rtl. Eh, why is there an invision icon by dates for status updates on the profiles? Whe not using it as a favicon for the site it seems odd to use it elsewhere.

I don't think customizations should be removed even from the default skin when upgrading or at least it should be made more clear that the template merger is not useful on the dfefault skin. i did only minor changes on the default skin rather than make a new one and it automatically removed the changes and was a tad confusing.

Please allow a setting to auto-kick a user if inactive in chat (minutes definable). I have a user that logs in and leaves so his name is always in chat. The chat tab says 1, but after a certain period of time it will say 0 in the bottom section of the forum, but the tab will stay 1. We need a setting to auto-kick for inactive chatters. Thanks

Is it possible to have an option to go invisible for the mods on the chat.... Blab Chat uses this feature and its handy for keeping undercover, when certain members get unruly thinking no ones keeping an eye on them... ?? Works anyway on a chat I use...

Need more hook locations 1. Ability to use hooks or some sort of smaller extension system in the admin cp to add more options in the forums, members and group forms without edits nor requiring a separate app. 2. A hook before IPSLib::doDataHooks( &$topic, 'postAddTopic' ); in classPost which passes the entire post data in order to do validation/return errors before topic is inserted. Currently it hooks the topic data after validation and then the post data after topic is created which doesn't help at all. 3. I posted this in the 'Features for 3.2' thread, but since I saw that bfarber said that suggestions should be post in separate topics, well... here I am. I really do love IP.Board, but I think there should be some simplification of the avatar/profile picture setup, or at least some way for board admins to control it better. Right now, each user can upload an 'avatar'

I'll get right to the point.. (Okay everyone, stop celebrating!) 1. Option to use regex for filters. Especially useful for email and IP filters. Having to ban 12.34.50.* to 12.34.79.* is a pain in the bum. Using 12\.34\.[5-7][0-9]\. would work so much better, as would ".*@(hotmail|yahoo|msn)\.(com|co.uk|ru)" 2. Be able to use "?" as well as "*" in ban filters. While not as wonderful as regex, being able to ban 12.34.5?.* would cover 10 spots quickly.

Facebook, twitter, and open ID have a login icon at the top right next to the login link. Please add a live login icon here as well. Please make the live login have the option at login to associate with current board account or create a new account like facebook has.

The icon on the Start New Topic button in the forum view doesn't use the topic_icon replacement variable like it should. And as a result it makes it so you either have to replace the page_white_add.png image itself or edit a template in order to change the icon. And yes, I know that this should be in the tracker, but I've reported it there before and been told that this is a "suggestion" and not a bug even though the replacement variable already exists and should be used there.

Set up notifications the way I wanted them as an admin to test on my test board, then I didn't change them and imported my community. Nightmare. Members are really complaining about the email. Any way to mass change notification settings? If not, I think it should be an option. Ideas?

We need the Hidden feature added because clients that don't have unencoded boards can't use "(T31) Hide Content 2.0.0" so please add this feature to the next version it's a must to a lot of clients that have encoded boards.Bless

Please add the option to associate a twitter account with current forum account just like the facebook login does. Without having to go into the user settings and then associating it. This occurs when nobody is currently logged in, on the screen that pops up when you click the twitter login icon.

One thing I've always despised are reputation systems, whether it be a thumbs up/down, points, or other type of "good ol' boy" system. It would be nice to allow users to have the ability to turn the reputation system on or off based on their personal preferences.

Doing a few test installs (such as the beta testing installs I did), something occurred to me. For new/fresh installs, it would be useful to have a random cookie name set so that if there is already an install of IPB running on the domain somewhere, it will be less likely to have conflicts. For those who know enough to install multiple boards but aren't too savvy about cookie settings or troubleshooting, this simple added feature could potentially reduce the number of issues people have when they install multiple boards. It's an extremely minor request and I would imagine something that could be easily implemented. :)

Firstly let me say the spam monitoring is fantastic as is the ability to flag users as spammers. But how about the option that when a user is flagged as a spammer it then automatically chucks users posts into the recycle bin as well? It means a one click solution to clearing up the mess that usually otherwise means going into the adminCP, finding user, deleting all posts.

Hi IPS. I'm presently an admin on a IPB 2.2.2 board. We are looking at updating to IPB 3.1. I have some issues I was wondering if you could help me out with. 1. I can't post in all the forums here. I can't go into peer-to-peer section to ask some questions. 2. Our forum agreement with IPS includes free updates. However I'm personally not on the list as an IPS customer. I understand the original forum starter has to add people. Is that correct? If he adds me then can I access all the sections? Including hidden blogs and stuff? 3. Skin maker. I would really like to be able to mass-PM people and be able to filter that according to user group. It's better than mass-e-mailing them (and most of them get a PM notification anyway) as I've made the experience that members tend to read PMs more than e-mails that they receive from the forum. I'm a switch-over from vBulletin and we had an addon/plugin that would do that, so I miss that function.

Currently, with IP.Board 3.1.0, there are 4 hooks for topic view that allows us to add a new button beside a post, compute some data but we cannot add new field for the posts select query (like birthday). I suggest to add a new hook for topic view that we could customize posts select query and add a new sql join. For example, this new hook could be used to display easily and cleanly (without changing source code) age of members in topics.
