could you not use RSS to feed into a widget and display that?

For the most part, new features don't get added during point releases. At least, that's been what I've noticed, with exceptions of minor new features or ones that IPS has already had in mind to add anyway.

As Ian said though, why not just use feeds to do what you want?

We need the Hidden feature added because clients that don't have unencoded boards can't use "(T31) Hide Content 2.0.0" so please add this feature to the next version it's a must to a lot of clients that have encoded boards.Bless
