Hello, I think the Nexus does not support PayPal Sandbox. I think it is necessary. When I try to add at the end, it was not supported. Can the added support of the PayPal Sandbox, or is there a reason for this? Best Regards

Hi all, If I insert a block for featured topics, I'll have to make a choice out "most recent, most comments, last date, ..." Is it possible or an option that if you refresh or every x minutes to change the list with featured topics on the forum index? For example I show 5 featured topics, and every time you refresh the index or comes back on the index you'll see other featured topics. Now is that not possible because I'll have to choose out most recent, most comments, last date, ... so the same featured topics stay at the index and don't change.

I KNOW I read about this before (several versions ago) and figured that it would be fixed by now (because it's a fairly simple fix) but apparently it is still borked. This is on a brand new install (conversion from XenForo) and it still does this for the location display on the PostBit? Now I have to search back through to find exactly how to put the space back in there (was 6 months ago last timeI had to do it). It's a simple fix - just modify the shipping data field for the location to include the space in it. The license holders shouldn't be expected to have to hunt down this resolution when they install the software.

Could IPS add "Sorted by record starter" to the Bug Tracker sorting? Forums have this under Custom in Sort, but records do not. I created streams but streams don't show the last activity when in content only mode (a bug that has not been fixed yet) but also they do not include the fixed and pending tags, and it would be great to see that in a list of our own bugs, so streams won't work for this. Thanks!

I crashed my test site trying to use the theme editor. I created a new database and and am trying a fresh install but I am getting a error message Installer locked. I know we used to have to delete a installer lock file in the cache directory, there is not one in ver 4

Anyone else have this issue? If you are making a new post and upload a image, if you then delete the attached image and submit the post, it still posts the deleted image. This issue is annoying my membership. I reproduced the issue on this forum as well. It just did it when I uploaded that pic and then deleted it^

"Insert existing attachment" is hidden under "Insert other media" which sounds like alternate file types, so how does one know this is for existing attachments? The other selection is "Insert image from URL," since you can paste an image or image URL and it embeds this is not even really needed, and "Insert existing attachment" could be a single top level choice. Or if it is needed, maybe two top level buttons, or one as an editor button, or please, some way to make it clear on how to use an existing attachment. I've considered renaming the top level. Most users just upload it again. It needs to be prominent. Thanks!

You can only search attachments when composing a post and using an existing attachment. In My Attachments, it's the same page but search is missing. I have needed this when trying to find a post and I know the file name. I know the file is blue_car.jpg for example, and want to find the post, and there is no search (because when you find the attachment, it lists the post it is in). I've even gone to compose a post just to search. Sometimes you want to remove one, search is useful here. Thanks

When you view images from a specific album, you click on the enlarge button to open the larger sized image in the lightbox but there is no button inside the lightbox to move to the next or previous image in the album. Instead you have to close the lightbox, move to the next image and reopen the lightbox. If you use the left/right key on your keyboard while the lightbox is open, only the image behind the lightbox (the smaller version) changes but the image inside the lightbox remains the same. This is such a big UI fail. If Gallery knows how to change the image behind the lightbox, why not change the image inside the lightbox as well? It seems such a trivial fix …

I upload images to the server. That takes time, but I understand since I need to upload. Then the server uploads images to AWS, which takes more time. For this step, I don't understand why it takes my time. I'm essentially babysitting two upload queues. Suggestions: At the very least give me a desktop notification that the "Saving Images" step is complete. I don't sit around to watch my images get uploaded to AWS. An even better suggestion is to move this step to the back-end. After Step 3: Add Information, post the photos from the server onto the website, then let a back-end process move them slowly to AWS. In the current IPS Community Suite, you are able to edit some of the default notification settings for members on your community. #1a. Why do we have to re-sign in so often with IPS board when we rarely have to re-sign in with Facebook? #1b. When using your mobile phone, when we are in a forum, why can't we post a topic? When on mobile, Facebook allows us to post a Topic/Status wherever we are!!!! Not just on the Entry page. These are two huge issues I've asked about before and have seen no action taken by IPS to move in this direction. With the rise in mobile usage these are two items too hard to continue to ignore.

On mobile it's a crapshoot when you press in this area if you will get the member page or last post. Especially for people with large thumbs. Perhaps make the entire zone active and go to last post, or somehow address it for both. Thanks!

Hi, Upgrading from 3.4.x to 4.1.5 we ended up with a sitemap.xml file, which is outdated and has been replaced with sitemap.php. The upgrade script should have deleted it. I wonder if there are more files in the same situation. As such, my suggestion is to add an option or utility to scan/list/delete old/unsused files. Thanks!

The link then appears on a drop-down menu next to the topic's pagination, which enables users to 'jump' to any tagged posts. This is particularly useful in large threads where, as stated in the link above, you could have a topic of 60+ pages about a TV show, and the threadmarks allow people to jump to posts before and after specific episodes have aired – thus saving them sifting through multiple pages to find what they want to read. Hello, unfortunately IPS doesn't have a feature to disable an account when its email address is invalid (possibility to switch back to "validating"). We have around 100k members. So we do get bump backs daily. We would need a feature to disable an account to force the people keeping their emails up-to-date. Otherwise every forum owner could get black listed. Please bring that kind of feature. It's a must have (from my point of view). And no, I don't want to use an external service like Mandrill. It could be so easy. Just having the possibility to set an account back to "validating". All email features of this account would be deactivated.

When you compose a post there is red text to tell you what is required. The title and body, but if you require tags that field does not get the required text, causing members to try to submit the post, only to see an error message after they try to post. I had mentioned this as a bug but it was marked for "future." I was wondering if it could be addressed faster, this is basic form functionality and causes extra clicks when posting. I was hoping to require some tags but don't really want to until this is addressed. Thanks for your attention.

This used to be a thing and it appears that the functionality was forgotten or lost in the upgrade but I would really love to have it to where a new email address must be re-validated once changed. I don't necessarily want it to put them in a validating group but it doesn't change the email in the system until AFTER they click the link. I've found people that validate their account and then change their email to something like "test@gmail.com" and since there is no longer any validation or re-checks against spammer databases it allows it to be done then you can't find the old email to put it back on there.

i got couple of members that are legally blind/visually imparied and im trying my best with no coding language to make every font as big as possible but theres just too much information all compact in one. 4.0 brings new Admin CP, which is very nice and well organized, but... with less options My understanting is that IPS decided to simplify Admin CP, but I'm not sure is this the approach that admins really want... For example I see that Merge member's concurrent posts option is gone. Instead there is flood control, but much less powerfull. All cache rebuild tools are now only automatic, I got no control on them. One hanged for me (Rebuilding non-content editor content), cannot stop or restart it, so finally I got a lot of tasks waiting for that one hanged to complete (which will never occur, hope that it is just b5 bug and will be fixed). It would be nice if the Registration Statistics in the ACP also broke down a little further to show how the user Registered. IE: Website, Facebook, Twitter or Google+ etc? It would help in knowing where the most conversions are coming from.

I don't think it's right that my app should have to manually handle unsetting the settings cache and updating the DB for something as simple as changing a setting - it should all be handled by \IPS\Settings::i()->my_setting_name = "a value"; IMO.

Most on my Pages installation many members ask me to offer a button to add content with option to choose app(cms,forum,blog,gallery...) and category for anyone. There are any walkthrought on this? I would avoid to use a tab on navbar and point this button on specific area of template.
