The new landing page is fantastic. Really shows value in the product and a bit easier on the eyes. Great job!

Not much of a fan of the grid view for forums because some long forum names get truncated, I'd propose that the grid view resemble the card style of Our Picks It just feels more cohesive and legible.

Have you ever thought to include a change to approve profile photos? the photos of users of header and profile users, I suggest this idea, many users insert porn photos and can not moderate all together, can not you put moderation for user photos? in the profile?

Hello, I was wondering if you could add the admantx service-fetcher to be considered as a search engine spider: http://www.admantx.com/service-fetcher.html/ The browser column in the sessions-table for these guests are admantx-adform/2.4 (+http://www.admantx.com/service-fetcher.html) and uagent_key is admantx-adform. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi, I'm trying to set permissions on IPB after import from VB4. I found non-deterministic behavior of ACP settings. I have user - jedrus.tester. His primary group is "Members". His only secondary group is "Spotkania Mazowieckie": Group "Members" has social permissions in section "Profiles" as below: Group "Spotkania Mazowieckie" has option "Can access site" set to "Disabled": Now - user jedrus.tester: can edit his profile: https://i.imgur.com/Dv86s0Z.png can set his cover photo: https://i.imgur.com/ZBOSs4z.png can't set his profile photo: https://i.imgur.com/wz48u7I.png I think there…

hi, as per the upgrade notification email I upgraded from 4.2.3 to 4.2.4 as it's a security release, Good news! Version 4.2.4 of Invision Community is now available. This includes a security patch and we recommend you upgrade as soon as possible. the upgrade concluded with no problems reported and all looked ok, except everything is not ok, since the upgrade I cannot reply to any topic, also, i cannot start any topic as the 'message' field cannot be typed into, worse still, I cannot raise a ticket with IPB as the 'message' field cannot be filled in and it's required !!, I even tried to attach a picture (attached here) but that fails too, in the attached pict…

Whether by app update or plugin I would (very much) like to be able to change the author of calendar events. My main site is for an organization and due to the sloth and antipathy of members I end up creating nearly all of the organization's event entries … and as such I seem to end up "owning" the event in the mind of site visitors (no matter how much contact information I provide in the body of the event). As admin it would be very handy for me to assign the responsible party as event author once. (I do occasionally remember that I can go in via ACP, find the member, sign in as the member, and then create the event. Would prefer to change from the front end …

In the Social Media Promotion AdminCP page, a message says: Odd methinks, I'm an Admin, so normally I have all permissions by default. Clicking on the Permissions tab shows another message: Hmm, mixed messages. Somewhat confusing. Does it mean I have permission in IPS as an Administrator but not in any admin permissions to promote in the social media apps?

It's an old problem, but it's still not fixed. The support team considers it as intended behavior. The problem Somebody creates a new topic with a poll. People vote on it. Later topic starter adds another new question (without removing an existing one). People who already voted on this topic can't answer the new question. Dear Invision team, please, consider changes in this logic. Personally, my users and I face this problem very often. And I'm sure it would be more expected behavior. Thank you!

The new customization that IPS instituted with the Navigation Menu Bar has turned into a veritable nightmare for me. Besides the fact that the navigation menu is now actively interfering whenever I edit an article page, it's now interfering whenever I click on a topic and I get redirected to the first new message of that topic. Before, the first new message would align perfectly within your browser window. Now? The navigational menu cuts off the message and you have to scroll up to read the posted message. Surely, IPS could have formatted the code so that when you clicked on the topic and the topic loads into your browser, that the topic would align itself under the …

I love that we have a setting in the AdminCP to moderate posted links. However, it seems to be all or nothing -- either we moderate all posted links, or none. I suggest making this a per-group setting. There are established users who I trust to post links in my community, and don't want to inconvenience them (or cause myself undue work) by holding their posts for moderation. However, I would like to moderate all links posted by new members to head off would-be spammers. I'd also like to see a check for links in other areas of the suite, such as status updates, blogs, profile fields, etc. I'm sure we've all had experience with users who try to sneak spam links in…

Is it too complicated for the current core of the IPB system to create the possibility for users to create blogs with easy and friendly URLs? I think this is the biggest limitation for users not to use this option. Something like: domain.com/blogname domain.com/blogs/blogname

Been a long time since this has been brought up but what the hay, I will again because I feel the situation is very needed and has almost become dire. Could IPB please consider creating development services? Could IPB Consider hiring someone to do dev services that has extensive knowledge of the framework? Please consider setting up a way we could submit what we need for and a cost rebuttal. Really getting old being blamed for things that's others issues. For almost 3 years now every bad plugin somehow has been my fault until of course it's found it's never been my theme. 3 years and never an issue with my themes. The back and forth and the blame game is a b…

As the title says. We have a setting to preapprove images, but not entire albums: It would be much simpler if you can approve albums at once, instead of images page by page.

I'm liking this, but a couple of suggestions... 1) When you promote a topic, the text is just the title. Surely the content of the topic would make more sense. 2) There's more space given to who promoted, than who posted the content. That seems the wrong way round to me.

Is there going to be any improvement in the Gallery system? Ever since the rewrite of the Gallery system every time it been redone the front end has change and items keep beeing rip out of the system. Some of the older version of IP.Gallery were nice to have in each rewrite of the front end system.

When you have more complicate structure in forums then menu "+ Create" is difficult to use. Good idea is add small search to Node forms.

When a user has purchased a subscription package and it expires, if they try to add it to their basket they get this message: I understand this as they must pay through the invoice but it would be a lot better if this screen redirects to the payments for invoice renewal, instead of an error that is confusing to the user.

It came to my attention that the "report content" link available at each post is lighter than the rest of the elements present in the same <div>, making it barely readable. I fixed this by removing: class='ipsFaded ipsFaded_more' from this part of the forums > front > topic > post template: <li><a href='{$comment->url('report')}' data-ipsDialog data-ipsDialog-remoteSubmit data-ipsDialog-size='medium' data-ipsDialog-flashMessage='{lang="report_submit_success"}' data-ipsDialog-title="{lang="report_post"}" data-action='reportComment' title='{lang="report_content"}' class='ipsFaded ipsFaded_more'><span class='ipsResponsive_s…

Hi, I am playing these days with: Imagemagick: https://www.imagemagick.org (for resizing images) Zopfli: https://github.com/google/zopfli (for compressing PNG) Guetzli: https://github.com/google/guetzli (for compressing JPEG) With incredible results. So I wonder if we could have in the future the support for these integrated with the platform, so when a user uploads an image, it is automatically resized and compressed. This way not only we save less disk space, but also the website gets faster. Thanks, Gabriel
