I'm trying to update a large forum to 4.6.12.1. during the upgrade it asks to run some DB cleanup commands (and by some, i mean it was a small Novel). The Database is quite large so i ran everything manually on the console directly. I hit "check again" after doing so but it still reports the same command. On the support page its showing DB issues, but i'm unable to get past them. is there an index i'm supposed to run to realign the dashboard? am i not waiting long enough for the checks to.. check out?

Hi team, If I enable the Google method for new registers and select the "ask the user to provide a display name" IPS create the account without Display Name and show "No Name" in the customer profile and "Will be deleted soon". And now this user cant subscribe to any plan. IPS not show any ID for this user in ACP -> Members -> Members There is an issue?

In the Profile view of a member, it lists number of posts. I'm trying to decipher the logic in the code and suspecting that the case is that the calculation of posts made may be actually summed with an aggregate rather than an actual field that maintains the count. Can someone do me a solid -- is the number of posts calculated by an aggregate query or is an actual field? I have the schema, and it's somewhat normalized (BCNF 3 -- maybe). Still I don't see it readily. table and field that caches the post-count? or aggregate query ? if latter, just point me where. Synopsis of system: Recently upgraded to 4.x crontab setup for once per minute to run `task.php` In ACP main status indicates No Background Tasks running. The upgrade was 7 days ago, during those 7 days or so, yes we had a storm of background tasks run. It feverishly was updating the DB post-upgrade. The flury of background tasks has subsided to a zero background task situation. The site still has and still runs the boiler-plate "tasks" per ACP (clean up tasks, post management, email management, etc..) Nothing in System Logs or Error logs to hint to any defect. Just update beta and none of the dropdown work User profile / Themes / create they sort of work ~ish on Google Chrome but not on safari Ok clearing caches helped.

The database changes related to the image scanner (adding core_files_temp.requires_moderation, core_attachments.attach_moderation_status, and core_image_scanner_logs) were added to the upgrade routine for 105013 (4.5.0 beta 1) rather than one of the 4.7 releases. This doesn't cause problems for most people because step 2 of the upgrade routine is to check the database schema, although this could cause problems in future if future upgrade steps act on this new table and someone is upgrading all the way though (and similar bugs in future could be more of a problem if they aren't just straight forward add queries). My incredibly customized forum: https://sava.one Why does it look so vanilla? Because I created a new theme, and once I switched to it, my forum broke. I've been trying to fix it myself for a couple weeks now, and cannot figure it out. I have a backup of the old database and files. I've tried to reinstall but switching to the backup database always breaks it. What should my next step be?

Hello, I have a member that tried to pay for a custom miscellaneous invoice I created on ACP for him. He paid with Stripe processor. The payment appears on Stripe, but there was an error after submitting the payment. That should not happen. The client opened a support ticket and sent me this screenshot. As I said, the payment has been received but he has not received any confirmation, only this error attached below.

Hi team, I've some users that I added manually to Monthly Subscription Plan and they have access without expires date because they are family and friends. But in the ACP -> Commerce -> Subscription Plans -> Monthly Plan Active Users List they have Expire Date in the past, just when they turned the first month. Here IPS should show this field "empty" or "unlimited" or a similar concept that show a real date expiration because they are an active users and not have this expiration. Some users in this case are id=2181 or 1762 for example. Can you take a look to solve in upcoming upgrades? Thanks a lot.

Hi, For big communities/websites there must be a feature so that different moderator can moderate different categories. As of now any moderator can moderate/approve any content For eg. Moderator A can moderate only content of download category A, while Moderator B can moderate only content of category B.

The anomalous behavior I'm reporting isn't just on one site but is showing up on sites running 4.6.12.1 and 4.7 Beta 9. Member 1 & Member 2 are members of the club, whereas Member 3 hasn't as of yet joined. None of the members are moderators, as such, none should be able to see the member list. When I select the "Club Moderators" as shown below, the setting isn't being honored. There shouldn't be any members listed in the three crossed out boxes.

Hello, I am using Invision Community v4.6.12.1. I am bringing back an old forum back to life. First, I've installed IPB 4.1 and made a backup and then did an upgrade to the newest stable version. The problem was, that the search engine could only find the posts that were made recently and not the old ones from the backup. I've rebuilded search index in ACP, waited 3 days for the process to finish and now the search engine doesnt work at all. Brings 0 results from either the backup and recent posts. Is there any way to fix it? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Good morning, I've been having trouble enabling PHP8 for a while now. Namely, after changing from php7.4 to php8.0 suddenly, for example, logging in/out causes redirection loops and the browser throws an error - ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. The problem occurs on unplugged cloudflare and plugged in. I checked also on localhost and the problem occurs also. On php7.4 everything works without any problem. I also add that I do not see any error logs. Now the forum is running PHP8.1 with the latest BETA, but I'll point out again that the error also appeared on an older version with php8.0. *Access data in the customer panel updated. I'm trying to import members from an old website on Wix using the CSV option using the fileds of display name (concatenated first name + last name form the Wix CSV) and email address only, but once I'm confirming the fields, the page redirects back to the first import screen asking me to choose a csv file again. Any advice?

Using a database for articles and it was modified from the default articles format provided from IPS Where is the image that is uploaded as the Record Image stored? It doesn't seem to be under the folder specified in CMS Media. Is it Attachments? Something else?
