This will require a custom app. It can not be done with the out of the box features a.f.a.i.k.

Please bear in mind while posting, that not everyone will have the ability you have yourself, and may actually not be self hosted either. In the case of this one, you are actually incorrect. Webserver logging will not give you 'only' the guests. It will give you everyone.

Have a look at the Marketplace. I think I remember seeing some apps there that deal with purging of old content but I do not remember the links off the top of my head.

Awesome! That worked. I didn't know that option existed. Thanks for your help.
It makes sense! Thanks a lot

For number 1, if you go the forums section in your Admin Panel and then clcik the drop down icon for the Category whose topics you want to delete, you will see an option that says: Move / Delete Content. There you can delete all the topics.

This just means that the author has not updated the resource or confirmed that it is compatible with the version of Invision Community that you're using. If they're working for you, that's great. You do not need to change their status (you would be unable to get any future updates for them)

The FTP access on file is no longer working, so I cannot check this.  My suspicion is there was a 3rd party item in which you no longer have the files for. Please check your server error logs, which will show the error in question

The issue there will very likely be your language pack being out of date. Please test this on a standard language pack, and if the issue is no longer present, you need to contact the author of the language pack you are using.

You are using a custom theme by the looks of it. Maybe it has been removed there by the designer? Try to post at that theme 's support topic about this.
P.s. Is this for all posts or for certain ones? Did you install any plugins/apps prior to noticing this btw?

I have removed your images. As mentioned above, these contain personal information.
The error you're experiencing is unfortunately due to a "crashed" database table.
It is important to understand that while there are several reasons that a table crash might occur, it is always caused by the server. For example it can be caused by the server being improperly shut down or restarted, hard disk drive failure/errors, improper repair attempts on a database, etc. The Invision Community Suite cannot, in itself, cause a table to crash.
Repairing a crashed table is a simple process, however we strongly recommend that you contact your hosting provider and ask them to repair it. If we were to attempt a repair, or you were to attempt a repair yourself, it could cause further complications, and it is important regardless to report the issue to your hosting provider so that they can investigate and resolve any server issues which might cause the problem to happen again.
We hope you are able to quickly resolve this with your hosting provider.

You'll have to truncate following database tables:
core_tags core_tags_cache core_tags_perms core_search_index_tags But please create a DB backup before you run this;)

    Happy Hump Day, team!
We just released 4.6.9 Beta 1!
It includes a bunch of bug fixes for our December release. Our release notes for 4.6.9 Beta 1 are pretty extensive 🤯.
One of the biggies is the Elastic Search improvements (more info about that here).
We also want to point out that there are new web hooks to trigger Zapier. 😊
Also want to put our new blog post on your radar 🙏

Feast your eyes on the all of the glorious fixes! Any of them stand out? Let us know what you think in the comments 😎

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in Index.php for pages when forums isn't the root folder?
You would not reinstall, you would just move it if you wish to use at root. So you would do the following

Move all files/folders to root Edit your conf_global.php file to the new URL Check your Storage Settings; the physical paths will have changed when you moved the forum to the root from a subdirectory. Change pages to your default application Reset your site URL from your client area Of course, always take a full backup before such moves

You will need to modify the postContainer template I for that. I think that I have seen a plugin in the MP that does that but I can not remember its name off the top of my head.

In addition to contact privately the developers listed there, you can start a topic in this very same forum as well, outlining the project(s) that you want to get developed. You might get more takers that way.

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in Documentation for members
There is no documentation on how to use the site for front end users. As you mention, our guides are aimed at the people who run the site. It would be expected that these would be something the admin would create. The issue with being created by invision is that every site is different. Even with no 3rd party items installed, you can have 2 sites of which have different items enabled and disabled for users, making the site look different for each

Have a look at this link about upgrading your forum. Then after the upgrade, you can merge both forums, as mentioned above, using the converter app and select from Invision to Invision.
