Edjazoli got a reaction from 13. in Log in via QR code?
Yes, I know about those options and using few already. I’m suggesting QR as a safer, faster way to interact with our community

Hi guys
What about for next feature you will add Login via QR code option?
The new mobile app includes logging in with a QR code will allows you to skip entering your username and password. The process relies on 2SV data stored in the app on your phone, thereby securely identifying you on forum with the help of your mobile device??

In order for this to work, IPS would have to develop some sort of native app for it to authenticate a user. Given that IPS has actually moved away from having a native app... I'm not sure this will come anytime soon.

Hello there @Edjazoli.
There is already some options that are similar with what you're looking for.
If you want to try them out, follow this steps.
System > Settigs > Login & Registration > Create New.
Or follow this link:
https://yourcommunitylink.com/admin/?app=core&module=settings&controller=login&tab=handlers
Or maybe you have your instalation in another directory:
https://yourcommunitylink.com/directory/admin/?app=core&module=settings&controller=login&tab=handlers
Official Documentations from Invisioncommunity:
1. Google
2. Facebook
3. Microsoft
Or all documentations:
https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/members-and-groups/social-sign-in
Overall its a good suggestion, I agree with you, but there is already such an option, I know a friend of mine had it on his forum. I don't know how it did it, but It's possible.
Maybe you can find something in the links I've linked that will work similar with what you want.

Thanks for that @LemonGrenade - glad there is something more up to date if people are desperate to spend more to get the data working now.
However, I think what @drawncodes is looking for is for this to be a core function rather than an additional plug-in we've paid for separately before, I know I certainly am 🙂
From an aesthetic point of view too, seeing the profile avatars rather than just the profile name, suits the way many websites have evolved. A bit like this:
People connect visually more so of late and they sometimes look out for their favourite user by their profile avatar.

Definitely agree with this. I thought the General Stats were actually part of the community by default until I saw the older plugin active in ACP.
Great post and hope its taken on board @drawncodes

After 5 years or maybe even more of using Invisioncommunity packages until 4.6+ I was pretty happy with everything. Now there are some new updates coming out every now and then.. Especially now with the latest update 4.7 a lot of plugins aren't working anymore. I have this problem with "Couldn't get the list of blocks.." on manage blocks on 3 or 4 suites.
The suggestion for today is:
Plugins such as, 'General Statistics', 'Who Was Online', 'Group Name Indicator' should be directly implemented to the invision community packages for installation.
It would help a lot of community owners and even businesses with these plugins.. Because with all the updates going on now, we get new features but also a lot of problems for current plugins already installed on our website.
Please consider my suggestion and try implementing it. As a invisioncommunity client I'm pretty satisfied with the services provided, but we need a little bit more.

It's as it says in the message - there is an error in the response from the
View the application's error logs, to see the the error that was logged - it's there for that reason, and should provide what the response was for the request, assuming the response wasn't null.
And all those settings you provide - all that tells me is where you have chosen to put the button on the front-end. It tells me nothing about which API you are using, what languages you've chosen for display, etc.
Start with the bolded item above, and we go from there.

@Kirill Gromov will continue developing this app? Or he will release one similar to this one?
-
Edjazoli reacted to Balto in Mark Topic
I don't think he will release a new plugin, but he can make customized edits according to what you need.
-
Edjazoli reacted to Kirill Gromov in Mark Topic
I can't add a similar plugin for copyrights reasons, but if the author passed it on to me, I wouldn't mind supporting this plugin.

Hello @Edjazoli and @kmk,
I had lost my hope on this to be done by the plugin creator, so I have asked another developer to realize that for me. If you are interested in buying this edit, you can contact @Kirill Gromov and ask for the price. It is not free, but he already know the plugin so he can make the edits you need.

Edjazoli got a reaction from SUBRTX in "Publish time" not only for administrators.
Hi guys, I have request from few of my members, who's using my Marketplace and advertising section, if its possible to use " publish time" for them as well?
I know that in latest version administration and mod have option to publish topic on certain time( aka- my further suggestion idea) its any chance to set up this option the way that Admin can choose which group is able to use the feature?
As well, bulk reaction will be a massive improvement for community engagement.
