    Mark Topic

I haven't tested Clubs, but I'll take a look! That's a good idea, I'll see if I can make this an option. I'm working on a new version now, hopefully released later this week or early next week. What you're describing here is the built-in tags feature, though I'm not sure if you can require one or more tags. My plugin currently does not and will probably never allow you to mark a topic with more than one marker. I'll take a look, but I don't think that's something this plugin will be able to provide. After all, the plugin is named Mark Topic, not Mark Topics and Posts. 😄
  2. A personal message will create a conversation on your community, so if the member replies you'll get their answer to your inbox (or the inbox of the member you set as sender). If you send an email, the conversation and their replies will not be a part of your community. I had the same issue, and posted about it on page 27: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/410417-auto-welcome-support/?do=findComment&comment=2830633 Not currently possible, it seems.
  3. If you want I'll make you a plugin that'll automatically embed any Loom video. This way you won't have to give everyone permission to post HTML, as this might not always be a good idea.
  4. I believe it might, as the map style used by default by Invision Community is streets-v10, while the supported style is streets-v11.
  5. Interesting, that article gave me the impression that WebP is not the wonder child of image formats I thought it was.
  6. Have you tried rebuilding the search index? It's an option on the Search settings page in the ACP.
  7. Have you set it up to be sent immediately or with a delay? And have you checked both the Error and System logs?
  8. Until the plugin isn't updated anymore, as the numerous topics here over the last weeks have shown. I don't want to argue with you. I respect you and highly appreciate your valuable work. You have your opinion on this and I have mine, and we'll probably never agree and that's fine. I only want to tell others reading this topic that editing a template file isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as you know what it means for future updates. Your argument is that editing the template means you'll have to do it again after every update or risk being outdated. My counterargument is that editing the template is perfectly okay, because you'll be given clear instructions on how to make sure it's up to date. I have no intentions of making you change your mind, or having you change mine. I only want to offer a second view.
  9. Then we've got different priorities, and that's obviously okay. For me it's a waste of time to look for, install, and keep updated a plugin when all it does is add four lines to a template. Also, I fail to see the issue with editing the templates. Why wouldn't that be okay, if you're comfortable with it and know what you're doing (and what it means when you update)? The updater will tell you exactly which templates are outdated, and with two clicks you'll see what's new and what changes you'll have to make. The whole point of the templates is being able to customize them to your liking. It shouldn't be necessary to install a plugin to move a button to another location.
  10. It'll only take you a few minutes to click "Show default" after an update and make the necessary changes to the template.
  11. And if you can't navigate or find the link, try to add this to your website URL to go directly to the Designers' Mode page: /admin/?app=core&module=customization&controller=themes&do=designersmode
  12. @JTHastings and @James101: Would you be able to be a bit more specific regarding what doesn't work? It works for me (finally), with PMs sent immediately to new members.
  13. Go to Themes in your ACP, then click the big, green "Create New" button in the upper right corner. This will create a new default theme.
  14. I'm happy to hear it worked, and I'm glad I could help! 🥳
  15. You can create a ticket from the Client Area. Click here, then click on Support. Indeed, thank you! If you click on the Console tab (next to Elements on the right side of the browser) you'll probably see even more red errors. The ones I can see indicate that important files are not being included, but it's hard to say exactly why. Could you try to empty the cache? To do this, go to https://extremehealthacademy.com/forums/admin/?app=core&module=support&controller=support, select "Something isn't working correctly" and click on "Continue". Then clear your browser cache.
  16. You can, if you've got a backup of both your files and database! Though, this isn't the worst issue someone has had after updating to 4.5 and I'm sure we'll be able to fix it. Can you check your browser console for error messages?
  17. You might simply be using a modified version of the default theme, I can't tell. All I'm saying is it might have something to do with the theme, so that would be the first thing on my mind. You can always try and create a new theme, and see if that solves your issues. Well, close to 19 500 to be exact. Are you going for 20k? 😉
  18. How does the default theme look? You might need to update your custom theme. Also, you should empty your inbox. Almost 20 000 unread messages? 😲
  19. With submenu I'm referring to the "Forums Classifieds Gallery etc." part in your first screenshots, the dark grey submenu/subnavigation. What you want to hide is called subforums. Anyways, the following code should work: .cForumGrid__description h4, .cForumGrid__description .ipsList_inline { display: none; }
  20. Just to clarify, do you want to hide the subforums or the submenus? Could you maybe upload a screenshot with what you want to hide marked?
  21. This is known as unix timestamp, or the number of seconds since January 1, 1970. It shouldn't appear like that, so I guess something is wrong, possibly with the theme.
  22. If you only plan to host a blog, not use the forum or any of the other applications, then there are far better options. But if you really want to use Invision Community, have you considered their cloud option? If not, it should be easily installed on every serious hosting provider.
  23. You don't need a plugin to show the number of views in the topic summary. Simply add the following four lines to the theme file forums > topics > activity: <li class='cTopicOverview__statItem ipsType_center'> <span class='cTopicOverview__statTitle ipsType_light ipsTruncate ipsTruncate_line'>{lang="views"}</span> <span class='cTopicOverview__statValue'>{number="$topic->views" format="short"}</span> </li> Insert the code on line 18, and the number of views will be shown next to the number of replies:
  24. I don't think we're using the same versions. According to your themes, you must be on version 4.4.x, right?
  25. That's weird, I'm using 4.5.3 as well. Have you given yourself permission to promote topics and posts? Here is an image of the "Promote" button (it's translated, so "Fremhev" means "Promote") in the section above posts: And an image of the ACP menu:
