  1. Are the galleries public or for members only? Have you tried to simply copy the URL (address) to the galleries in question?
  2. Hmm, maybe you need to be logged in to see the button? You can also purchase the application from the Client Area, after clicking on Manage Your Community.
  3. Bonjour ! You can delete the test forum from your admin area (ACP). Go to Community and to Forums, then find the test forum and click on the drop down menu to find Delete. Bonne chance, et bonne journée !
  4. Yes, you need to purchase and install the Downloads application: https://invisioncommunity.com/features/downloads/
  5. I think it would be helpful if you could post more details about this PHP error.
  6. What’s new in version 1.1.0: Version 1.1.0 is now available on the Marketplace. This version contains new tracking parameters and fixes a bug reported earlier in this topic. Another new feature is that tracking parameters in other parts of the URL, such as somewhere in the path or in fragments (that’s the text after the #), will also be removed. New features Tracking parameters in the URL path and fragments (after the #) will now be removed. Improvements Added new tracking parameters. Fixes Fixed issue with links not made up of text, such as images or other attachments, being wrongfully processed.
  7. You have to copy everything down to (and including!) the second </div> after the </form> tag, if that made sense? Six lines more than what you’ve selected.
  8. Have you seen this topic? There are some information and tips there that might help you:
  9. You can always try! The worst thing that could happen is that some tasks stop running and you’ll see a huge warning in the ACP. You can easily switch back if cron doesn’t work for you.
  10. To be honest I don’t remember, but it was either because running them with traffic is the default option, or because I ran into some issues with cron. All I can tell you for sure is that running the tasks with traffic works fine for my (small to medium sized) community.
  11. I don’t have a suggestion for what user account to use, but I would not use the root account. Also, make sure the user account you end up using has access to run PHP and to read the directory in which the files are stored. I’ve switched to running the tasks with traffic, but earlier I used an user account named after my community. This user ran nginx and PHP, and had access to the files.
  12. An update with new tracking parameters and a fix for the issue mentioned above, is now submitted and awaiting release.
  13. As I wrote in the other topic, I’ve identified the issue and will submit a new version shortly. In the meantime, please disable the plugin. You might have to manually edit some posts, so hopefully not too many posts were made.
  14. Thank you for the report! I’ve identified the issue and a new version containing a fix will be submitted shortly. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you haven’t lost faith in the plugin. Edit: I’ve set the price to $1,000 to prevent anyone from installing it until the fix is released.
  15. Don’t worry, I found a way to work around it! Thank you again for the examples.
  16. Are these copied directly from your forum? I ask because the “&amp;” part is a bit tricky. If the URLs above are posted in your forum exactly like they are here, then I need to do some extra magic behind the scenes to make the plugin read them correctly.
  17. This is perfect and very helpful, thank you!
  18. I assume they mean the warning you can give a member when their content is reported:
  19. I’m finding several tags related to Amazon, but I’m not sure which applies to affiliate links. Would you be able to show me an example of the affiliate links used by your members? Edit: I’ve identified two Amazon’s affiliate parameters (ascsubtag and tag) and will add them to the next release. An example from your forum would still be helpful, though.

Thank you for taking your time to make these suggestions! The first four should be easy to implement, and I will take some time to better understand the last one regarding moving some methods to the Topic Item class.
  21. This is the support topic for the plugin Remove Link Tracking.

It’s possible to automatically lock or unlock a topic when it’s marked or unmarked, by configuring the options under the “Lock/Unlock Topic” tab. This may restrict normal members from unmarking a topic, if the topic is locked. That looks good, and I’m very happy to hear you find the application useful! Just a quick note, though I’m sure you’re already aware: for the moment, everyone, including normal members, can see if a topic is marked or not and see the specific marker, even if only some groups have permission to use the markers. The next update will make it possible to only show the markers to some groups. This will allow you to make markers for internal use only.
  23. It seems that the date of the last change made to the file description, is being called three different things (the three red circles): Edited, Released, and Updated all show the same date. Is this intended? Nevertheless, it’s confusing. I can understand the Edited date below the description, but something should be done about the others. In my opinion, the Published (orange circle in the sidebar) and Released (above the changelog) dates should show the same date. The current version of the application in the screenshot was published on December 31, so that date should be shown in the changelog as well as in the sidebar. Finally, a date is missing where the purple circle is located. Here, the Published date should be displayed. Currently, no date is shown here until the next version is published, and then the date is wrong (see first post).
  24. I was sure I had reported this earlier, but I can’t find any similar topics. In the Marketplace, the release dates of the different file versions are wrong. It seems the release date is set to the date of the next version uploaded: If version 1.0.0 is uploaded on January 1, the “See changelog” dropdown displays no release date. When version 1.0.1 is released February 1, version 1.0.0 is suddenly showing a release of February 1. See this picture for an example: The list of versions show version 2.0.0 as released December 27. This is wrong, as this version was released in March. December 27 is the date I submitted the new version (2.0.1). Also, the December 31 date displayed below “What’s New in Version 2.0.1” is the date the new file was approved.

I’ve made two flow charts to better illustrate how it’s currently decided if a member can mark or unmark a topic. Mark a topic: Unmark a topic: A few notes to the charts: The moderator permissions seems to not be working (there is no place to actually give moderator groups the required permissions). This is a bug and will be fixed shortly. For the moment, to prevent a normal member from unlocking a topic, you need to lock the topic when marked, unlock it when unmarked, and disable “Allow anyone to unmark the topic?”. Please note all three settings in the picture below: By doing this, only administrators (and soon, as intended, moderators) will be allowed to unmark a topic. It will, however, lock the topic so normal members can’t reply. I’ll look into adding another option (which groups can unmark topics), so you don’t have to lock a topic to prevent normal members from unmarking it, if this will help your case!
