I got it working now. Thanks @Adriano Faria for offering to help.
I had to create a dummy extension in admincp, then the extensions.json was created correctly.
This is exactly why I am so reluctant to upgrade Invision to newer versions.

Thanks for reporting it as a bug. I'll await the fix as it does appear to still be an issue even in the latest update.

Email ticket support is not primarily how it works. Its an optional component to the ticket system that without, it can continue to function perfectly fine.

    Agree with OP.
From a developer perspective I fail to see how the support/ticket system is causing enough overhead for the IPS team to warrant it being decommissioned. Just sounds ridiculous considering it's so similar to forum/pages functionality.
"Oh there's already other ticket platforms" is an irrelevant statement. Obviously there's alternatives, but it's inconvenient and integration is not usually fun. The ticket system can be tied to purchases, it makes sense to be part of the same platform.

Wow, what an inconsiderate and tone deaf response to a loyal client that has been with IPS for 20+ years. You realize the category this thread was posted in is called "Feedback", right?

Why bother paying your developers when your customers will do it for you for free, right?
Same attitude that EA takes with "LiVe SupPorT" aka using paying customers to test their unfinished games for them with no cost.

It seems like every time I need to update an app, I have to buy it at full price again, despite having done that multiple times? If I buy an app it should be mine, this subscription model is just capitalist madness. Same goes for an IPS update: it seems like every major IPS update breaks every app I own, then I have to rebuy all the apps again in order to get the fixed version. As it stands, I am just not updating my IPS installation any more because of this exact situation.
Who made the decision to employ this model, and what is my motivation to upgrade if every time I do I have to spend a bunch of money on getting a fixed app?

To be honest, I can't see this IPS platform as remaining a sustainable one for the small communities out there. The asking price for everything is way too high and now that the marketplace devs have adopted this teat-latching subscription model, all I see happening is that when "new" IPS things come out they break the old things that were working just fine and then we are expected to pay again for something that hasn't really changed other than to comply with those other things that didn't need to change in the first place.
It's a form of software socialism and I have come to the end of my tolerance thereof.

As the developer of Support Ticket Notifications, I can tell you it still works. It hasn't been updated only because it doesn't need updating.

Let me explain what happened now if you work on INVOICE with 1.1.6:
    1. CANCEL INVOICE / UNPAID INVOCE / EXPIRED INVOICE
Advert not deleted - Advert not more on pending status - Advert stocks recovery
    2. DELETE INVOCE
    Delete the advert

    P.S.
Probably this will be the latest maintenance release, if all is well I would like to start working soon on a major release (1.2) that will bring new features.

I'm not really interested if it worked before I owned it, I only care that it works now and that I got a working product for my money...which I didn't. Fortunately I fixed it myself so I'm happy for now.

    +1 I've noticed this too.
Also, when an item with a quantity remaining that is greater than 1, it shouldn't be made pending when an offer is made as this makes it disappear from the store, despite there being stock left.
