1.  You can advise your members to follow the content nodes (eg. Download Categories) and not the user.  
2.  You can check out Follow Specific User Content from the Marketplace
 

And that's fine, I'd never judge anyone for that, but there have been no new features...

The last added feature was in Version 1.4.1, Released May 19, 2018, New Feature: Moderators with award medal permission can now also remove a medal from a members profile.
And before that was...

Version 1.3.0, Released December 12, 2017, New Features: Member Filter Extension, Further Rules App Integration, Font Awesome Icon Support, Medals can be replaced by other medals, Medals can be awarded via the "Create Menu".

In 3 years, that is all we have got, yet just over the last year, 3/5 of us are saying the same things we wish to see. There's demand, people want your app and want to support YOU, yet we're not getting very much. And this is why I haven't bothered to renew, there's nothing to renew my licence for...

This could be one of the great apps in the market place, but you're simply not fulling your customers. But very happy to take the money.

Maybe some of us can get together and make a list of features/add-ons we want and see if they can realistically be done.

I'm not having a go at you, and life does indeed get in the way. But nothing is 3 years (a worthwhile update or feature) is a disappointment. Maybe even someone could take this off you and look after it, and they can take control and update it?

While that is a solution, the fact remains that this is an error and it should be fixed and investigated into why it keeps happening.

Hi everyone,
I noticed this afternoon that I have an admin notification of a task not running.
The notification is Locked Task: usagereporting
Whenever I try to run this task, I get the red box error with a bunch of stuff in it with the error number 2C124/7.
I'm about to lodge a support request for this, but wanted to put it here as well to see if any others have had similar issues.

Yes, it's wonderful. Thanks so much. I have written Invision now to ask them to update the forum, so I hope it can be done soon.

I am very happy to say that I managed to fix the errors and get the forum backup and running error free.

As above, but you can’t hide forums and then have a link in the menu to access that forum.
Users won’t see the forum unless they have permission to do so, you don’t need to worry about hiding the forum.

@Majbritt_mergedcontacted me and I am taking another look now. The forum in question belongs to an older version of Ipb and it is not compatible with the php version in her server. There is also a mysql issue as well. I am working on fixing those issues now. 

My next suggestion would be to download the whole site and run it in wamp localhost to see if you can get it running. But I’m afraid of suggesting such a thing if you’re not sure on how it all works or how to do it.
Just like MissB I’m happy to have a quick look on cPanel and just check everything is correct and that it matches up. Though I’m not sure how much more I’d be able to do if MissB has gone through everything, but offer is there.

Thank you for releasing the new fix. Medal issue is now fixed and I am receiving notifications when awarded a medal. I wanted to ask if its possible to add a setting to send an Automatic PM when medal is awarded just like with Trophies?
I really like this idea and this is something all the other developers can do as well. There should be a request feature list or an online notepad which anyone can access and edit and people can put in their suggestions and others can add to it or edit it to refine it. After that the developer can see what features can he add and go on from there on.
Since we already purchased this app, developers could also ask for some money to add certain important but difficult features and users can then decide if they want to pay for it or not. 
Like an auction system maybe. Sorry, just putting my thoughts out.

is this a feature you would like to see?

Only feedback from the screen shots, but that button placement looks very odd. Could you not add it to the usernav? This would give it a clean look and not use space between the navbar and the forums title. If this shows on a mobile/cell phone that's quite a bit of space used up. But I love the idea and so many people are after an official dark theme.

I think that is because of the great features that have been added in 4.5. That is why some people are getting impatient imo.

The promote feature is to enable 'our picks' which can be added to the front page of your forums, or to social media accounts.
