Aron12 Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Hello, I'm hoping someone could give me some guidance or advice please. I'm wanting to add some menu items here - which redirect to the odd forum. The issue I'm having is once setup on the nav bar I don't want members to see the forums where forums are usually placed when created. I've tried messing with forum and category permissions but had no luck.. like I tried making it so the forum couldn't directly be seen on the site but if you clicked the link on the nav bar it would take you inside the invisible forum. Miss_B Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Hi. I think that you can do that with the Menu Manager inside your Admin Panel. Aron12 Posted April 26, 2020 Author Share Posted April 26, 2020 Thank you for the responses if I do the above though the forums will still be seen on the home page also ideally if I can I only want certain forums accessible through the nav bar but permission issues are preventing me from making this work as if I set it so no one can see the forum but yet they click the nav link at the top it will give a permission error. Dean_ Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 As above, but you can’t hide forums and then have a link in the menu to access that forum.
