  1. Note if you have selected auto ads in google ads, then thats what we are referring to here. If you have selected the wrong type it will break even if you are adding it in the correct place in our ad system
  2. Please update your access details in your client area, rather than messaging individuals. It just means more than one person can assist, and its stored in a secure location
  3. Is your live site also using 8.1? Could you please confirm if you are on 8.0 or 8.1?
  4. Glad to hear you found a resolution to the issue 🙂
  5. Of course this is up to yourself. Please bear in mind however if you leave it too long, you will then be upgrading at a point where items are disabled and locked, rather than just disabled.
  6. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  7. There is no setting for this. Please check this on a default unaltered theme, as I am seeing these no problem on my end
  8. Cloud is currently on 7.4 . We cannot guarantee that. But that is the same with any upgrade at all. You would need to check that with the author of your products. What I am saying is if they work on 7.4 then yes they will work if you enable them again. At present, its informative and saying "Listen, we are going to update to PHP 8, and these things will break your site entirely in future"
  9. @opentype We are going to get this one patched for you. Please bear with us
  10. What you are missing here is if you are on PHP 7.4 you can upgrade to 4.7.2.1. It will then check and if things are not compatible with PHP 8, it will disable them. You can then reenable them if you are on PHP 7.4, but you will then know which will break when we force it. If you are unsure however, you need to contact the authors of your applications/plugins
  11. There isnt an error message there. Thats just a location. What log are you seeing this in? If its your server error logs, you need to find out what the error message itself is. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact your hosting company who will be able to advise
  12. You could also add some random text at the top to ensure its inserting things as required
  13. We can create a ticket only with the account on file. I have just responded to that again so you get the email
  14. I would ask, if you are having issue with speed and hosting, have you considered our cloud hosted solution?
  15. Usually, an issue on the software that is affecting a large number of users is something that would be patched. i can certainly flag this one up though so it can be looked at. With regard the carousel one, that bug has not yet been addressed, so could not be released as fixed.
  16. In your case there, it was the mb_string php extension
  17. In addition to checking the above, if that doesnt work please run recovery mode while using that version https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/client-services/getting-support-r292/#recoverymode
  18. I see my colleague has already answered there. Please let us know if you require any further assistance
  19. Is this 'only' happening with guests? Will have a test if so and get this reported in our bug tracker
  20. There have been some fixes in this area for the next upcoming release, and I cannot replicate on my development release here
  21. Glad to hear you got the issue resolved 🙂
  22. As mentioned above, disable all 3rd party items and test this again. We are seeing many issues where 3rd party applications are not yet ready for PHP 8 unfortunately.
  23. I would suggest the following Make a full backup update to PHP 8 upload a fresh set of files from your client area upgrade from /admin/upgrade . If you have any issues please let us know. The reality is, this is going to be the best way forward. It may be best to simply disable all 3rd party items and deal with upgrading those after you have a successful upgrade as most are likely to be outdated and wont work.
  24. Just so that you are aware here, PHP 7 will actually not be supported for security updates at all after November. So unfortunately its not really a choice we have here. With those plugins, please post in our suggestions forum if you wish to see these as new additions to the platform
  25. You're really going to have no choice but to disable these one at a time until you find the cause here. Unfortunatel, while I know you dont want to do this, I dont see much other option if you want to get to the bottom of the issue.
