Thank you for letting us know, I can confirm that this is a bug in Invision Community and a fix for this issue will be included in an upcoming release.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in Pages CSS and variables?
CSS files in Pages aren't tied to any specific theme, the CSS file you create is the same across any theme that is used on your community. It simply isn't possible to use those plugins.

Thank you for your report, I have created an internal report for this so we can look into it.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in Unable to cancel subscription.
In 4.6 and less, you should see a (small) 'remove' button on the AdminCP member profile page for your member. Granting a free membership is a lifetime thing that could not be changed to another subscription package.
In 4.7 and newer, we've improved how all of this works so when you grant a free membership you can select whether it's for ever or for a period of time (if the subscription has renewals).

Stuart Silvester reacted to Randy Calvert in PHP 7.4 - 8.0
Hey.... I resemble that remark! I remember when 3.4 was the new hawtness.
Picture it... Sicilly... 2012....
The UK had informed the WHO of a novel coronavirus case originating out of Saudi Arabia (what would later be known as MERS). The largest Atlantic hurricane on record at the time, Hurricane Sandy, devastated the east coast of the US. Vladimir Putin was elected as President of Russia and Barack Obama was re-elected as President of the US. And in a small, quiet town... @Charles announced the best version of IPB ever made up to date.... version 3.4!
Ahhh... those were the days!

We haven't used XMLRPC since version 3.4. it's a very old thing.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in Post request with axios
Try using basic auth instead as noted here: https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api
You can only pass a key as a parameter in certain circumstances where the server doesn't support basic authentication.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from Davyc in Cannot use Search - errors!
This suggests there's some kind of issue with the FULLTEXT index on the table, analyzing it should correct it - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64397678/mysql-match-relevance-score-causes-double-value-is-out-of-range-error/71500119#71500119

Yes, PHP 8.0.x is. it is PHP 8.1 that isn't officially supported yet.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in I need hlpe with upgrading, my upgrading stucks
Hello,
This is an issue with a third party application you are using. I have completed your upgrade for you, but you should report this issue to the author of that application (axenserverlist).

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in gallery thumbnails
This issue was due to the original image files (that we use to generate thumbnails) being missing from the storage location. These were able to be restored from an old backup and regenerating the thumbnails again fixed the issue. We've also added a check to the process for a future release to make sure the original image exists before removing the existing thumbnails.

Hello,
If you're talking about the Marketplace, you can only install resources that have been tested and validated for the version of Invision Community you are using.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from SeNioR- in Locked Task: Queue, after 4.7 Upgrade
Please go to AdminCP > System > Support and apply the optional patch (if it's offered to you). You'll see a link to do this in the box on the top left of that page.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from Jim M in Are we missing forum posts?
If you're using InnoDB, that number will also only be an approximation. It doesn't accurately reflect the exact number of rows in the table. Additionally, if you have over a certain threshold of posts the widgets use different means to calculate a number. It's less accurate, but counting how many rows are in large tables is very slow.

Stuart Silvester reacted to Jim M in Doing Test Conversions
Did you create your Invision Community admin account with the same details as your account from your converted forum? If so, that is intended. The system will do it's best to merge accounts that exist already. However, will keep existing items in place like join date, profile photo, etc.. but add in new data like posts, messages, etc...

If you are a Cloud customer and use this application
Please do not upgrade your community to 4.7 unless you disable this application first. Your community will be unusable after upgrading. The author is aware of the issue and will hopefully have an update available soon.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from Adriano Faria in Problem installing resources from Marketplace
Great (it's actually a simple fix), you're forcing your pages to be HTTPS, however your Invision Community configuration is not set up correctly.
Please refer to this guide to update your configuration
