I have a user who pays for an annual subscription via paypal. Even though he's never missed a payment, the ACP shows his subscription as inactive. Paypal shows it as paid and active. How can I fix his account to be active and update it so it expires on the correct date?

Are you using Safari to create the icon? Do you have any other browser set as your default?

I am interested in this theme. Do you have any images of what it looks like in the Pages app?

Google ads have really really really been performing poorly in speed lately. It's happening on multiple sites for me.

This album is set to private because it is embargoed content that I cannot release until 7 pm. Opening my front page in In-Private viewing still shows the activity of me creating the Album, though the album's contents are not visible. IMO, if the album is private, not even the activity of creating it should be visible.

None with IPS itself. I did get template issues with my marketplace template, so I dropped it back to 8.1.

You've got a 500 Internal Server error. You'll need to talk to your host.

Find the IP address of the poster in your ACP and ban it. Also, look into a Cleantalk.org subscription. Best $16 a year you'll spend.

@Matt - Can I make the suggestion now that we have this: On ./notifications/options/ can the section "Notification Types Available" be moved to the top of the page? As I'm typing up the instructions for my users, the flow of the instructions isn't very user-friendly.

It appears to be corrected. Note: There is a character limit for the short name field, but I'm finding inconsistent information on exactly what that number is because it can be different for Chrome or iOS, but err on the side of shorter. That said, Cheers & Gears does just barely fit... so for iOS, that limit might be ~14

I like how the chat questions turned into questions here, but when there is a reply to the question, shouldn't the username of the question asker be in the header of the quote?

I didn't realize forums were that popular with the rest home set.... but I've been running a forum since the WWIV BBS days. Eventually, the fix is going to be users upgrading their hardware. We can't and shouldn't expect IPS to hold back the entire suite just so a few users can keep using 10-year-old iPads. I don't think IPS should have reverted that code if it benefited the suite. If it has been several years since Apple has supported the device, there's no reason that IPS should be.

Thank you @Marc Stridgen, @Matt and the IPS team for getting this update out to fix the date issue. I updated my site last night and was able to schedule embargoed content for 12:01 am.

I understand. I see that in the Beta release notes. I am asking that IPS puts the details of such a removal of functionality in the release notes in the future, even if it is a temporary situation like this.

Being told about that removal in advance would have been appreciated. I would have just skipped the latest update until it was resolved. The removal of the functionality if using forums for comments is not mentioned in the release notes.

This is correct... a step that I had forgotten. This should be done immediately after you complete step 2. $INFO['board_url'] = 'https://mysite.co.uk/forums'; to $INFO['board_url'] = 'https://mysite.co.uk/';

What you want to do is 1. Activate Pages and build your initial basic home page. This will put the url at something like mysite.co.uk/forums/articles(or)pages. Stay at this step until you're happy with what appears when you visit this URL. It will be your new homepage. Probably buy one of @opentype's excellent article and page template plug-ins if you intend to write articles. 2. Go into your file manager and move your entire IPS install + all subfolders down to the root folder for your domain (remove wordpress first!!!). This means everyting currently in your public_html/mysite.co.uk/forums/ folder needs to go to public_html/mysite.co.uk/ 3. Log into your IPS ACP and set Pages as the default app. Pages will now reside at mysite.co.uk, and your forums will reside at mysite.co.uk/forums. 4. Celebrate

Yes, I know PHP 8.2 is not currently supported. I'm starting this topic for the eventual discussion and to possibly help IPS with support in the future. I moved my site to 8.2 this morning, and it seems to be running fine so far. I will log any errors or issues I spot in this thread.
