Yes, when a member joins (or leaves) a club, this should trigger a group promotion (or demotion).

We cannot advise on direct database manipulation. You would need to await the period the account is locked for. Looking at when this was posted, that would seem to be only 3 minutes away in any case 🙂 

One thing that I miss a lot in group promotions is a rule that fires when a user is (or is not) a member of a certain club. (Of course clubs have to be activated on the community for this.) This would add much more flexibility to automated promotions. Can you please consider adding this in a future release?

To clarify the usage here
Promote to social media - This is a tool aimed at the site owner to give the ability to promote content to their social media page
Share to social media (and other places) - This is the tool for your users to use to share to their social media

Nope. According to my screenshot, Admininstrator + the members you add will be able to promote to Our Picks.

You should only use use 'Download', as that does what it says on the tin...it downloads the plugin.
The other options will add the plugin to an editor, and the resulting download is then the Editor itself. Not surprised if that caused your problems.

Just managed to approve it through AdminCP, but not front end.

You might want to post this in the main support forum. This is for server and self hosting issues. 

This issue seems to be software related and not server related. 

I’d pay hundreds of dollars for a new app.  I’d also pay to have the old classifieds content moved into the new app. 

I disagree with you. I think people would pay to have this very important app properly maintained. I know I would, in a heartbeat.

Frankly, I would pay for it again just to have it well maintained by Adriano.

Maybe @Adriano Faria would consider taking back this app since it was his to begin with...
Loosing this app would be a great loss for Invision...

Subscribers pay extra. Sure, we can make their name bold or assign an achievement badge, but neither is very evident. It would be nice to have a way to make them stand out. Something special in the postbit or inside the box, etc. Any ideas on something that's out there already? Otherwise, it would be a nice core feature. And don't forget levels. We have the option of selling levels (e.g. gold, silver, etc.) Let's make sure we have a way to make them stand out individually.

When you promote an article you get to pick an image, great. However, that image gets resized into that narrow band. Imagine it’s a headshot, the image in picks on the homepage ends up being focused on nose and mouth. I have lots of noses and lips on my picks widget; I would prefer to have eyes. In short, it would be important to have the ability to reposition the image (or change the ratio, though I prefer the repositioning option)

That’s what I did except have to take a note of all clubs. You can go to ACP clubs :

and you’ll have all the features when you edit a club then compare with the query results for that club. Delete what’s not listed in the ACP and you’re done. 👍
