When a GUEST views that page, they don't see "Unread Activity". They see "All Activity". Those are different URLs.
Actually I do see as a Guest not applicable options on some forums using the Default IPS theme. The best example is @DawPi's forum (I believe he did not modify anything):
I can't reproduce on my forum but I am a little bit behind (IPS 4.7.7).

Ok, tried it, but it just gave me an error message, or an Opps not allowed as a member so it didn't seem to work?
I want each member to be able post something but other members cannot see it.
ACP > Community > Forums > select Edit next to a specific forum > Forum Settings > Users can see topics posted by other users?
Then go back to the forums listing and select Permisssions from the dropdown menu. Set for all groups:
- See Forum
- Read Own Topics
- Post New Topics
- Reply To Topics
ACP > Members > Moderators / Administrators > if set to "Restricted" under Forums tab enable Can view all topics/questions?

But something here for sure changed and I just thought that is intended.
My rank was already "Rising Star" (I do not remember how many points left in that moment to get to the next level). A few days ago I noticed that I was downgraded to "Community Regular" with 1 point left to get again "Rising Star".

Hi,
I think it is normal in the context how you actually create new lines:
- Using "ENTER" creates a paragraph (<p>text</p> <p>text</p>) and ACP > Customization > Editor > Settings > Return Key Behavior set to "Go to next line" fools the display to render it as "one line less". But if you copy lines in the "p" tags to other editor you will get that extra line(s) visible.
- Using "SHIFT+ENTER" creates a break (text<br>text). If you copy the lines you will get the exact lines. -
Hi,
This is by design and how it should be. You always will see an attached image as "image inside post" without any visual division known from ancient IPB 3.x.
Note also there is a difference in an image position. When you upload an image as attachment and do nothing else the image is always at the bottom. You can see this if your post will contain some text before attaching. Then if you place a cursor in a different position (eg. at the beginning of your post above the potential text) and use the "Insert" option located on the image attachment then the image is placed in that exact position.

I am pretty sure that it was released in April 2015, as a soft release and officially released about 2 months later.
Yep. According to my internal forum changelog still in August 2014 was only a test of 4.0 available (IPS4 Preview Site).

I will add one more thing. I went to your forum linked in your profile and my rule added temporarily via browser's inspector works fine. But note that in some topics like this one not all text is changed to red:
That is because that specific part of the text has been either repasted from other source (preserving different color definition) or manually "colored" by the poster. Those can't be changed via CSS, the only "solution" is to edit the post to remove extra colors.
To prevent colors being copied you can configure "Paste as Plain text".

Forgot to say, the code is for changing text in posts. If you like to change the text somewhere else then be more specific.

What do you mean? The code does not work?

Not possible out of box. Change Post Date plugin also could be problematic because:
"Be careful when changing date from a post. You can have issues when merging/splitting posts if you set a date and it broke the logical sequence of posts ID of the topic."
[I was the one who reported problems with merged posts appearing out of order and it was found out that was due to posts IDs.]

I edited my previous post to explain why potentially you could not find the topics. As for the new Search bar defaults, in the context of your forum you might be interested in this:

Not sure why searching for custom member title didn't find me that post myself 😕
I had the same problem with a couple of topics. I knew the topics are there but obvious keywords returned zero results. So I found the topics via Google (site:Invision)...
That is because after they re-organised forums (merging some together / moving data) I could no tell where the topics could be moved and probably I was searching in a wrong area. Note that now the Search bar defaults to "This forum" instead of "Everywhere" if you are not on the main page.

Unfortunately there is no way to do that (unless you will use Firefox *). I even created a feature request topic:
* Firefox unlike Chromium based does not copy the background. But that is obviously limited only to you but not your members.

I wasn't able to reproduce it in Chromium based browsers, only Firefox.
Yes, you are right. I am using Firefox. Indeed, now I checked Chrome and the same SVG is embedded (and re-sized too).
BTW.:

Out of curiosity, CKEditor 5 implemented SVG upload support. Would that be blocked in the future IPS version?
Thanks!

Just to clarify:
My main report is related to SVG embedding without HTML on. Supported here on Invision forum.
-----------------------------------
Note that my text related to HTML on in the editor is greyed out (to indicate that is not the main point). That was just my additional test while I was investigating why those particular SVGs refuse to be embedded. And thanks to this I found out that SVG dimensions are the culprit. I do not intend to force SVG embedding that way!

If we talk about "remote images" then I would say that nothing could be considered to be truly "safe" only by judging the extension. For example, PNG can execute JavaScript too. Currently malware uses steganography to hide in the "plain" images.

Embedding remote SVG images (or allowing your members to) can be a real security risk. (...) Since you have 'HTML mode' enabled for your member group
Not sure where that is coming from in the context of the report... You allow here on your forum to embed direct SVGs otherwise I would not be able to make my test topic.
As for the "HTML mode" on, from my forum perspective:
- My intention is to use internal SVG links (safe SVGs uploaded to my server and linked in some topics)
- HTML mode is enabled only for Administrators and Moderators. -

Just to add, opening SVGs in a text editor shows that those which are automatically embedded have width + height specified:
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="256" height="256"> ... </svg> <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="720" height="720" viewBox="0 0 190.5 190.5" xmlns:v="https://vecta.io/nano"> ... </svg>
The problematic ones do not have such specs:
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 256 256">...</svg>
If I edit a sample SVG by adding such values embedding works.
Big spike in users caused by Sorry, you do not have permission for that!
