Out of curiosity.. is not possible to create framework, so that IPS updates their core framework to use CKE5 and other custom plugins use, IPS functions? This way, always IPS can make changes without breaking existing apps. If new functions/features are introduced, apps need to be updated as well. 
This way, at least existing apps will continue to work. Now this comes from a non technical mind, so take it with grain of salt 🙂 

It’s design flaw if every developer is not using ips editor even though underlying is ck4. Their needs to better way to handle this for 3rd party addons.

This is highly dependent on your specific Apache/PHP setup.  I would recommend disabling anything one by one and letting changes bake a few weeks so you can catch any unexpected/unintended consequences.

This will tell you what a majority of modules do.  You can then evaluate your conf file folders and see if those directives are used in any way.  (If so, they'll stop working.)
Some general thoughts on the module list you provided are below...  again, I don't know your specific server setup so don't take any of this as gospel.  What is good to disable for me might be required for you based on your host entry setup, how PHP is compiled, etc.

So IPS now has @Ehren who is best known for what he does. I have like 3-5 themes from him. So now, when we can see dark version in IPS and new changes on default theme like you did for Gallery 🙂 

I'm still hoping for an easy, elegant and native (no plug-ins) way to toggle dark/light mode on my Invision Community. Here's a toggle switch that is very elegant that hopefully will inspire the Invision Community designers: 

After 5 years or maybe even more of using Invisioncommunity packages until 4.6+ I was pretty happy with everything. Now there are some new updates coming out every now and then.. Especially now with the latest update 4.7 a lot of plugins aren't working anymore. I have this problem with "Couldn't get the list of blocks.." on manage blocks on 3 or 4 suites.

The suggestion for today is:
Plugins such as, 'General Statistics', 'Who Was Online', 'Group Name Indicator' should be directly implemented to the invision community packages for installation.
It would help a lot of community owners and even businesses with these plugins.. Because with all the updates going on now, we get new features but also a lot of problems for current plugins already installed on our website.

Please consider my suggestion and try implementing it. As a invisioncommunity client I'm pretty satisfied with the services provided, but we need a little bit more.

When did yiu get that error? When trying to edit a post? If so, the version currently pending fix the edit issue. Let me know if you can reproduce after update to new versions.

Literally one reason I wouldn't look at Cloud... Cost.
It's far too expensive. I looked at moving to Cloud and worked out my yearly costs would be 400% what they are now, including the license fees for the IPS software.
I would love to move to Cloud for the simplicity, but it's far too expensive to be able to justify it.
 

A lot of people run their forum as a hobby and don't make any money from it.  the cloud is too expensive and I prefer to use self-hosted and my servers.  The second thing is configuration.  In some cases, IPS needs to be hosted on its own server due to a number of integrations with other platforms. I'm not interested in the cloud. Your policy is a bit strange because other companies don't hide the purchase of a self-hosted license on their site and the software is the same whether it's self-hosted or in the cloud.  And here I see a typical one-way setting with bonuses for the cloud.

I've got nothing against the cloud offering, personally its not for me due to the other reasons already mentioned, cost, sluggish speed, other uses etc.
We self-hosters have just got a nice Gallery update as well, it wasn't restricted to Cloud.
Just saying though, that if I sold apples for 10 years and then introduced a second product line oranges, ten years later I would expect to see sales of apples decline and sale of oranges grow. 
 
PS. Don't forget the devtools for 4.7.7 please!

Just to close the loop on this in case it helps anyone in the future.
I had restored my test site to an older backup that had a different admin login than what I am using now.
Once I recalled the login I had saved in the backup it worked fine.
Silly mistake but I forgot that I had changed my password since this backup was made.

This app does not add any columns to core tables. Not sure why you have this error.
There's a new version pending approval currently. I requested urgency to approve it faster but no reply to the email too. Install it back when it's released and let me know if you still find this (or any other) issue.

That's a bug with the Chrome browser. It was introduced around version 108, and they've fixed it for the upcoming version 111 if I remember correctly.

The version you posted is 110 so expected to still have the issue. They would need to be on 111. I am not sure on the exact release.

Mobile browsers usually update automatically. It's just that the timing was the same as your upgrade.
I've seen this issue reported on other sites recently, unrelated to Invision Community.

It would be nice whenever you have time to include this to mobile view too. 


Also, add a setting to disable/enable it because maybe some admins don't want to see it.

This is why you ban ASN. Banning CIDR's will do no good and eventually it will take toll on CPU consumption on your server. However, if you do ban IP address, make sure to block at PREROUTING / RAW so it's quick and fast.
