You can use the Group permissions page to check and edit everything easily:

teraßyte got a reaction from Miss_B in PHP Error thrown when trying to upgrade server
How did you reupload the files? Maybe trying a different FTP app (or even cPanel file manager or similar) might have different results.

teraßyte got a reaction from sulervo in Mandatory checkboxes in Commerce custom fields
A required checkbox field should always require a 1 value IMO. I consider it a bug.
Or at least add a new setting that allows you to require it to be actually checked on submission. 🤷♂️

teraßyte got a reaction from WP V0RT3X in How to find an app?
Most of the developers still active (myself included) are using this site to list the modifications: https://www.invisioneer.org/marketplace/
When you click on the Get This File button in every file, you'll be redirected to the developer's site. 👍

teraßyte got a reaction from kmk in Post thumbnail when sharing in WhatsApp
There is no default share option for WhatsApp in Invision Community. I guess you're using a 3rd party modification?

Thanks for the above! I've sent that to the developer. He's going to look at it next week. If he can't do it, then you'll probably be hearing from me about the possibilities of a plug-in. 🙂

There is no integration available in Invision Community for what you're asking. You'll need a custom modification for it.

@Marc Stridgen I've seen tons of people switch to PHP 8.2 and think all is good because the requirements checker doesn't throw any error. Instead of checking only the minimum version, you should consider adding also a maximum PHP version check. It would help a lot. 🙄

This is added in .15 but it isn't working properly. As you're ordering it by record_time DESC, I have to upload them in reverse order if I want to keep them in a specific order.
All the files have the same record_time (1704826851) so it doesn't make any sense to order by time.
record_id ASC would be more appropriate.

I don’t think there is much IPS can do for you. Their privacy policy would most likely prevent them from sharing any info they have for him.
You might be better off working with your bank regarding a chargeback if you did not get what you paid for.

teraßyte reacted to Nathan Explosion in Lost my DB
Just going to add this to the fun...
If it was me doing this, I'd be checking if I have any other non-Invision applications installed which may have a table in the database.
For example...."links"...
With NO knowledge of what you have installed in your Invision environment, and NO knowledge of whether you have 1 table called "links" or multiple tables called "links_<SOMETHING>", I'd be wondering if that was used by an application called "Links Directory"

The best way to go about it imo is to install a new wordpress at a test folder/subdomain using a new database and then compare its tables with the ones from the database that you have used to install your Ipb and wp and omit those tables when you backup the current database so you can restore it at the new database with only the Ipb tables.
Or as mentioned above you can move the database as whole to a new database and after connecting it to the Ipb forum, delete all the wp tables from it. Either method will work.
I suggested the wp tables as a comperasion because wp has less database tables than Ipb and it will reduce your workload.

There wouldn't be a way in which to do this without someone having to approve them. However, I do have an alternative idea for you.
Have you thought about using commerce perhaps? This way you can use forums as you intended in the first place, rather than clubs. So using your scenario above you could create either a subscription or a product, with $0 value with the name "Microsoft user group". Create a group that is added as a secondary group when a user "purchases" that item, which also gives access to x forums content.

Let me ask you a quick question: is your admin account in at least 1 club?
I have looked at the code, and unless the member editing the stream is in at least 1 club, the field with the club options won't appear. I consider it a bug since IPS shouldn't check if the specific user is in any clubs from the ACP:
/** * Fetch our clubs and cache * * @return array */ protected function _getOurClubs() { if( static::$ourClubs === NULL ) { static::$ourClubs = \IPS\Member\Club::clubs( \IPS\Member::loggedIn(), NULL, 'name', TRUE, array(), \IPS\Settings::i()->clubs_require_approval ? array( 'approved=1' ) : NULL ); static::$ourClubs = static::$ourClubs ? iterator_to_array( static::$ourClubs ) : array(); } return static::$ourClubs; }
For the admin dispatcher, they should pass NULL rather than \IPS\Member::loggedIn() as the first parameter.
