Graeme S. reacted to Michael.J in Auto Welcome Support
I'm working on the Auto Welcome app again now and should have an update soon.

Graeme S. got a reaction from Adriano Faria in Recent Topics
That worked. Thank you for the great app!

No. It works for me, both in app settings and in Account Settings.
Use the tool to reset the number of topics if this an issue in your account.

Graeme S. got a reaction from Daniel F in Marketplace search – can we make it show on more pages?
First of all, love the idea of eventually having all my apps managed through AdminCP. Execution is pretty slick!
One thing that is causing me a bit of frustration is the disappearing search bar. It's there on the dashboard page, but if I click through to a specific product, it disappears and I have to go back to dashboard in order to search again.
Then on product pages:
Any reason we can't keep the search bar there?

Yes:
It'll send out emails:
When the request is received (with a direct link to cancel it) When the request is approved When the request is cancelled -

What's New in Version 2.1.1:
Fix the link path to ModCP in the email sent to the moderation team -
Graeme S. got a reaction from Adriano Faria in Delete My Account
@Adriano Faria, looks like the email sent when user requests deletion is sending to wrong location.
Link for review request was */settings/deletemyaccount/
Presumably it should have been: */modcp/delete-account/

Graeme S. reacted to Nathan Explosion in (NE) Display ads within posts
You're overthinking it ?
Anyway....as mentioned....next release has a few additional items in it which make loads of choices possible.
There will also be an enhancement to the change I made with v1.0.5 - that change was needed because I found a problem with the plugin affecting posting replies to a topic, and that's a show-stopper for forums hence the release. That change, however, also affects the displaying of an ad when using pagination - that will be resolved in the next release.

Nice one...thanks for purchasing. I'll do an update soon to hide that paragraph setting for enabled = off though. ?

That was the issue. I had to have the ad enabled and have it set to custom for it to show up. Thank you. Now I can see the custom placements :).

Have you tried toggling that 'Enable' option? Have to ask the obvious, based off the screenshot.
And only ads with a 'custom' location will be available as within the content is a custom location.

Has anyone decided to use auto-ads? Any best practices here?

This mod was made on request. Author did not pay for exclusivity.

Graeme S. reacted to .Ian in IPB 3.1.0 features
When a member makes a post that is subject to moderator approval - it would be nice if this post appeared to the user, but stayed hidden to all other groups that cannot see such a post.
That way the user would know it has been made and secondly could edit the post prior to it's approval (subject to his editing rights on the forum)
It could then be marked as awaiting approval.

Graeme S. reacted to Martin A. in Eek! Search seems to look rather odd!
If you believe you've found bugs in the software, post it in the bug tracker[/url}.
The issue with being a paying customer, but not marked as one has been taken hundreds, if not thousand, times.
In short, you have to log in with the same details as you use in your client area. And if you are, all you need to do is log out, and log back in again. If that doesn't solve your issue, file a ticket to account assistance.

Graeme S. reacted to Matt in Matt / Charles
Of course you did. Once you start a public rant that compares us to Nazis, the best course of action is to keep quiet on any details that back up your complaint. ;)
Regardless, I see no way to move foward and will lock this topic. I have nothing further to say either publicly or via PMs. Jawohl
