I submitted a free plugin to the marketplace to accomplish that. Waiting for review.

I wouldn’t be so eager to convert everything. First of all, there are still users who cannot see WebP images at all and switching over to WebP without keeping all previous images as fall-back would mean they don’t see any images at all.
Second, the format itself doesn’t guarantee better images, especially if the WebP version is generated from an already compressed or optimized source image.

As some asked me in MP :
    How to noindex profiles :
go to ACP > site promotion > Search Engine Optimization > Meta tags > add meta tags
    Page adress :    profile/*
    Page name : leave empty
Button add : robots with property : noindex, follow

    THEN

wait for 1-3 months approx depending on your board size and then check if you have no profile indexed anymore : site:yoursite.com/profile (you have to wait for google to crawl all profile pages and discover the noindex)
then add in your robots.txt the following directive :

    Disallow: /forums/profile/

Be cautious when NOINDEXing topics in masses.
If you made a mistake NOINDEXing a topic that has been indexed for years, it may take a while for Google to reindex (1 to several months). What's worse is that you may end up with a lower rank. You are forcing Google to recrawl/reindex the page. Older topics will get hit the hardest.
With that said, there are some pages you can safely NOINDEX. I would start with Profile pages. They suck up your crawl rate. NOINDEX inactive accounts and maybe accounts that have 10 or less posts. You can already do this with IPS.
If you have RSS generated pages, you may want to consider removing them as well. These are just copied content from external sites. Not useful in terms of Organic Search unless they have lots of comments. Manually review any that have lots of comments.
A great way to do this is to review your Analytics > Acquisition > All Traffic > Channels > Organic Search > Landing Page data. Check how much traffic a page has been bringing in the past 7, 30, and 180 days. You may be surprised to find out that some "thin content" pages are actually bringing in traffic. Compare the numbers with other pages on your site.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you are comparing the right numbers. Organic Search is all about USERS not Pageviews.
NOTE: Most sites really don't have an issue with crawl rate.
For sites that migrated to IPS (ie. vbulletin to IPS) the biggest issue occurs with change in URLs. This affects topics, images, and profiles.
The bigger your site the longer it will take to climb back up.
Many site owners don't realize how much traffic Image Search brings in until it's too late. If I remember correctly, IPS doesn't offer any redirects for attachments/images with migration. They only offer redirects for topics/forums. However, if forum URLs lack forum ids* (which some vbulletin SEO tools offered) than this is something that IPS doesn't offer out of the box. You will need custom code for this.
    * domain.com/forum-name/
Before you mass NOINDEXing, I recommend the following...
Check URLs in Analytics that may be affected. DO NOT NOINDEX BLINDLY.
If you NOINDEX 5,000 topics that generated an avg 10 USERS per week. Than you are looking at 50,000 USERS lost for the week.
Let's say your site has an avg 1.5 Pages/Session. That's equivalent to 75,000 pageviews lost for the week.
Have ads on the site? The avg is 3 ad slots per page. That's 225,000 impressions lost for the week. 1 million impressions lost for the month

Hi Guys IPB is awesome and far better than any other forum software available in market. IPB team working very hard to implement new feature every month i appreciate their     hard work
But now in smartphone world everyone is using mobile devices that have apps to access their favorite content. people don't like first open browser, then type url and then type username, password. Mobile friendly websites are no longer a solution. Forums are facing competition from Telegram groups, discord server, Facebook Groups, Whatsapp Group
    @Charles PLEASE HELP US !!!!!
I know it is very difficult to maintain native app. so Now companies use hybrid approach to cut cost for mobile app.
It would be great if IPB team develop the in house Progressive Web app for IPB. IPB theme already mobile friendly so every little to do  Just need to implement
    1. Service- worker for Offline uses
    2. Push Notification for Notifications
    3. Login and signup screen (that remember the user name and password)
Here some Key Benefits Of PWA over Native App

IPB4 team already have brilliant javascript developers. I think it would not too difficult for them to do this.
I would like to Pay for this feature separately  if it will be developed. It would be Milestone for IPB 4 as compared to other forums software.
Others IPB members if you are agree please vote this feature as much you can and share your's feed back too and don't Forget to Participate in Above Poll Question

    Companies Using PWA!!

PWA is not just another Buzz word,  PWA again transferring the power back to Web Developers which was lost during native mobile app era. I think REST API based apps for IPB not right approach, From developers point of views, it will make mobile apps  hard to maintain and compatible with every new version of IPB and updates of hundered of IPB plugins. However PWA just uses Mobile Responsive of Website.
Forums Founders  spent both Time and money to make his/her community sustainable. sometime new users like the forums but forget url and browser history deleted,at that time website looses one member ? this same things happened with me many times and may be other members share the same experience.
For iOS users or Android users there is more chances, new users of clients Forum website click on App icons  (Installed by PWA ) again than open browser inside the mobile, remember the website URL and hit the enter. No matter whether  PWA support push notifications for particular mobile os or not :)
PWA fully supported in Window 10 redstone 4. We can't ignore the billions machine running  window 10. Window 10 PWA app would be huge opportunity  to keep the website users engage with website. Just imagine clients Forums apps are installed on users PC.  Even They don't open browser and enter forum URL,  with single push notification you can make users again engage to your website ? More and more adopting the window 10

This is my humble request to IPB team please please develop in house mobile app for IPB others wise our communities websites will loose the competition in mobile app age.
     THANKS :)

I know, I know. 4.4 isn't even here yet, and here's a topic for 5.0. How dare I! The shock and horror! In all seriousness though, I think it's a perfect time to start talking about what kinds of improvements can or should be made for Invision Community 5. Some of these may not be possible, some might be, some might not even be thought of yet (oi, post those too). So let's start:
Something many members have asked about, and something I would absolutely love to see, is a member-customizable home page. What I mean with this is the ability of a member to customize what content and blocks they see when they log in. Some members want to rearrange how content is displayed on the home page, and currently that isn't possible. As an admin, I can do this for everyone, but not all members agree with certain choices in this regard. Allowing a member to customize their user experience going forward would be a huge gain.
Another thing to consider in regards to users is Profiles. Currently, clicking on a user link takes you to the Activity feed for that member. An option to select which tab is the "active" tab when a user link is clicked on could be useful for those communities who wish to prioritize, for instance, the About Me section over activity.
On the moderation side of things, the report interface is somewhat lacking. For those of us with the "gallery" application, when an image is reported, that image is not forwarded to the Report center. All that the report center gives is a link to the image and/or the album that was reported. This should at least update so the image reported it available directly and immediately in the report. This will save a lot of time for image heavy communities.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting, as I'm at work, but I'm liable to post more later.

    Hi all,
I have a request that will only take a few minutes of your time, and will give you something in return.
We're finally getting around to creating books and guides to help new customers get comfortable on the Invision Community platform.
I'm looking for a few positive quotes and 'soundbites' we can use on a few pages around the site, on social media and in these guides.
Hopefully you've got nice things to say. @LaCollision gave us a very nice quote a while back.
    So things like:
That sort of thing. If you have a specific use for Invision Community, then we'd love to hear from you.
If you are happy to leave a comment, please also leave your name and URL to your site.
If the site is safe for work, then we'll link back to it when using any quotes on our site and on social media.
We get a fairly health bit of traffic so I'm sure you'll get a good number of click throughs too.
If we get 20 useable quotes, I'll post an exclusive picture of Charles and Lindy holding a hotdog from 2008. I did not seek their permission before making this promise.
    Thanks for reading!

Please, add WhatsApp as a Sharing option in site Promotion.
I have just taken a look at my website statistics right now and more than 50% of the visitors are accessing it by cell phones.
It's a must for great community promotion the option to share content by WhatsApp.
AddThis (http://www.addthis.com/blog/2014/08/13/new-services-added-including-whatsapp-sharing/#.VNqycMbZGC8) and AddToAny (https://www.addtoany.com/services/whatsapp_button) already offer WhatsApp sharing button.
There is a ready to use javascript that can be used by IPS 4: http://whatsapp-sharing.com
