I've been using IPB since 2006 with the MSSQL driver.   I was always attracted to the flexibility of the platform with minimal programming.
Recently tech support has become more difficult.  It's harder to find code examples and removing the marketplace killed a creativity source for me.   I had a stroke a few years ago, so my development skills are retarded, but still I believe this is one of the poorer organized forms in regards to technical documentation.
A wiki, kept up to date by your community, would really help in development IMHO.
    Good luck all!

Exactly.   Zapier does not know the member_id.
I suppose I can make a page with a php block and redirect that way.   I knew about the security issue; I'm just trying to get things working to attract more qualified help.
    Thanks for the assistance!

Yeah, you're missing the fourth button. I just checked and I'm still seeing it on 4.7.12, though.

The only thing that comes to mind is the IPS Cloud. Are you hosted by IPS? Maybe the option is disabled there.
  18. Thanks
Elon Report reacted to teraßyte in Call to undefined function curl_init()
You can check if curl is enabled by looking at phpinfo() in your ACP.
Go to "Support > phpinfo" (button on the right sidebar). If cURL is enabled, it will be listed there. Or you should be able also to check by using your server's control panel (cPanel, DirectAdmin, etc.) if you have one.

Elon Report reacted to Stuart Grimshaw in Sharing user info between sites.
Our site is self hosted and made up of 2 distinct app, the first is Invision obviously and the other is an in house app we created ourselves. Because they're on the same domain they can see each others cookies so at the moment I look for the presence of `ips_member_id` on the backend (it gets passed because they're on the same domain remember) and then make an API call to get more member info, but this is a bit flakey and doesn't seem to work in all cases.
I looked at OAuth, but I don't want users to have to log in to both parts of the site seperately obviously .. does anyone else have any ideas about how to approach it?.

I understand the need for secure messages that no other person can read.  But I also need a way for a user to "report" inappropriate messages, making them readable to support staff.
I did a quick search on the marketplace, but could not find anything.   Does such an option exist?

If someone reports a PM, the specific message reported shows in the report center.  If you click on the title of the PM, it lets you view the FULL PM conversation along with a list of all people that are part of the conversation.  That conversation is only viewable if it is reported.
