Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
broni Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 ...and again email notification with empty body (posted about it in another topic).
ReinforcedPanda Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I'm getting SQL errors every once and while, but when the page does decide to load, it does so quickly
Management Lindy Posted September 20, 2011 Management Posted September 20, 2011 Be patient with me for a little bit - working on a few things.
broni Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 That's all we need to know. Just some word back from you guys. I'm leaving you alone :)
Management Lindy Posted September 20, 2011 Management Posted September 20, 2011 Let me know how things are going now. Thank you. :)
Marcher Technologies Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Let me know how things are going now. Thank you. She Flies again  Thanks.
Breadfan Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 We have been under constant DDoS attacks for a few weeks now. Interesting..why would anyone want to nuke a forum software company? Competition perhaps (not posting any names of course).. Anyway, the site is still terribly slow for me (Croatia) and few moments ago, while trying to reply, I got the database related error..
ADKGamers Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 lol nice Ian. . And yeah everything seems fine for me right now. Probably about an hour or 2 ago the site wasn't loading but it's running pretty smooth now.
bfarber Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Interesting..why would anyone want to nuke a forum software company? Competition perhaps (not posting any names of course).. Anyway, the site is still terribly slow for me (Croatia) and few moments ago, while trying to reply, I got the database related error.. Various reasons, and it's not like you generally know who is DOSing you. I would guess a disgruntled former customer (could either be hosting or software).
DesignzShop Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Clear Your Caches... seriously. I'm Neither csm, Nor ehren. , nor Lindy... no matter what the board seems to think  Had to logout, back in, and ctrl+f5 everything.... :D
Hexsplosions Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I would guess a disgruntled former customer (could either be hosting or software). I'd have said "an idiot". :D
tenaki Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Up and down more than a wh**e's drawers. Been getting an sql error but forgot to copy it
sunrisecc Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Here's one of many: mySQL query error: SELECT f.*,p.* FROM ibf_forums f LEFT JOIN ibf_permission_index p ON ( p.perm_type='forum' AND p.app='forums' AND p.perm_type_id=f.id )
.Ian Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I would rather see the odd error creep in here and get corrected than for it to get released to thousands of sites as is the tendency for a rival software product!
