I used to use AOL dial up on a 33k modem. 10 seconds to me is fast.

You got's money man, I just upgraded from the Post Office wire to a 14k modem, and I upgraded my web server to a 486 DX4!

We've identified most of the issues we believe that were causing increased server loads. In the process we've optimized a few other areas in minor ways (but minor tweaks add up over time).

Definite improvement. I could barely even load the company forums since the RC2 update.

Still a little slow to render the page or complete post edits, but I guess that could be their server.

We're still working on things. Identified a few more issues and just updated the site. We have some tools in place to help us identify where the problems are, so things are picking up now.

IPS cannot or will not say yet. When it's ready to release, they will release it.

But it should be only a matter of days, since the Forum here is now running RC2.

Predicting when IPB will out, as a consumer who has no idea what their internal plans or ideas are, is almost as good of an odd of guessing it as winning the Powerball.

I remember a few things on the internet - I remember in 1995 using a 14,400 bps modem using Netscape 1.0 in my first year of University. This was when the internet was still an infant. But previous to this in 1989, I remember using a state-of-the-art 9,600 bps in an Apple IIe to send emails to other kids in Portsmouth, England. We were the first school in Australia to get this privilege. Was a real buzz.

I'm guessing RC3 just to play it safe. It's always a good thing to do things atleast three times.

I'm also guessing Wednesday June 10th is the RC2 release.

Wednesday June 10th is the RC2 release - Hope you said TRUE :D
