Is there a way to block spammers registering with email addresses like "de.nis.e.go.mez.19.8070@gmail.com"? Email addresses using periods in weird places all go to the same gmail address as if those periods didn't exist but often registration systems treat them as unique. My old system did so spammers abused this. Does Invision have a way to stop it? Eric

I noticed that subscriptions in Invision are not actually "subscriptions" products in Stripe. Given that, how does changing the price on a subscription in the admin of the cloud Invision affect current subscribers? Also, what if I want to run a free or reduced price first month trial on a subscription where I already have clients signed up on it? I.e. if I lower the first month price on an existing subscription, what happens to current clients? And what happens if I then get rid of the free/reduced price first month? Is each subscriber basically just treated individually? Thanks, Eric

If I want to set up subscriptions but no other types of products for my platform, how much of the rest of the "Commerce" set up do I have use? In other words, can I disable Store, Checkout, Billing and Purchase, Support and Referrals in the applications manager in the backend (I'm on the hosted solution)? Or are there some of these that are essential to keep turned on in order for Subscriptions to function properly? Eric

Everytime I try to download my list of members I only get like 30-40 rows instead of the full list. I have checked all of the filters and it seems to just be downloading the members on the first page of the list. There has to be a way to download the whole thing in one swoop right? I have almost 2000 people in here.

Hey, last weeks I've been having complaints from our users that our (self hosted) IP is slower than before. First I tried tweaking php-fpm settings, but I never really saw enough concurrent connections to really justify upping the max_clients to something absurd. I am the owner of a community on Invision that is at the core of our entire business. We run a network of sites and this one is our most vibrant. We have an employee who was a development admin and has been let go from our company. Unfortunately, they left on bad terms and we need to restrict their access immediately while also getting ROOT access back to us. What is the best course of action for us here? We are in a spot where I am afraid to delete the former employee's account because we don't want to lose back end access permanently. I am afraid if I merge their account with mine they might get more control. Who do I call here? I need a Ghostbuster.

Hello, I have a forum and I'm currently on the beginner plan, is there a way to monetize my forum with google AdSense? I need to add the ads.txt file to my forum, but I can't figure out how to do it even after following the robots.txt and ads.txt guide. There is no "pages" area in the admin control panel for me to add the ads.txt file to my forum. Do I have to upgrade to another level to add it?

Hello, I will be doing a domain transfer in the next few days. My question is: I can't keep the old offline until this migration. I can activate the 30-day trial on the new domain, for the configuration and customization of our forum, and then transfer my license that is active on the domain that will be deactivated. If this is not possible, I need guidance on how to proceed, because my license is very old, I pay a nice price and we would not be able to make a new subscription, even because the other domain will be deactivated. I think I'll start a my community again on a subdomain, is it possible that I can do a fresh install without deleting my current community forums while I'm working on this? For changing friendly URL’s from clubs to committees, is it just a case of updating the friendly URL and that is it, the real URL just stays the same? Or would I change both? Are there any issues with this IE breaks in the site. The plan is to change the word club in the URL to committees across the site. I am not worried about SEO as its a fully private site.

I recently upgraded from 4.7.13 to 4.7.14 and soon after my server began sending me "Excessive Resource" warnings--a couple of dozen per day, which the task exceeds 600MB. I know I can change the memory level on my server to a higher warning level to stop receiving them, but before doing so I wanted to mention this, and ask what with the recent update my cause this sudden change? Some of the warnings are also about excessive time to complete the process. Has anyone else noticed this?
