Does anyone have or has anyone seen tutorials about how to use the forums as a member? I am starting a help section and would like to add some tutorials on how to add images, how to use content streams, etc...I can write them up my self but it takes time that I don't really have! Since [spoiler] tags no longer work in 4.5, what can I do to have that functionality back? I'm talking about on here, Invision. I hate sending images because they take up a lot of space, and now that I can't use bracket tags, there's no way for me to spoil anything because they don't have the button in the editor menu.

Why do the user group colors not show in some places (i.e. the side section on comments/posts)? I have the setting set to global but I think the username is non-colored because the group is showing in the same section. How do I disable this? Additionally, I've set up multiple subscriptions that add secondary groups to members. However, it looks like once they purchase one subscription, they cannot purchase another? These are unrelated so the upgrade/downgrade logic doesn't fit my use case. Is it true that a user can only have one subscription at a time? If so, it will essentially force me to create a subscription for every possible combo of subscriptions on my si…

Hey there, quick question for you guys. I submitted my forum to IPS to become an app. Assuming it gets approved... I'm wondering if I'd be able to offer access to the app based on group permissions. I want to give my subscribers access to the app and that's it. If you are not in the subscribers group, the app will not work for your account. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi, i have changed a few colors in my forum. Now i have two parts where i didnt find how to change. First ist the line between the Topics (red arrow in picture) Second is the blue Button in front of the topics (green arrow in picture) It would be fine, if this was changeable in the design section in the admin console, and not in css. Hi guys, Previously (before 4.5 update) i was using the rules & automation application to deduct post count when a topic/post was "hidden", and then reinstate it was it was "unhidden" Does anyone know if this functionality is feasible without using that application? (Not sure that its going to be updated for the new software, as i can not see it available on marketplace)

Hi there, I am trying to use the serial key API that comes with commerce but I am having some issues. At first I tried to use the one that is in the reference library under the licenses section but I was unable to use it to mark a key as used (the GET/POST - /api/nexus/lkey/). Hey all, So we've had a few abusive users get into our forum recently and it's becoming a problem, so we've decided to enable content moderation for the first 5 posts in the default member group. We have the following options set: Require approval before content shows? Yes Remove content moderation after 5 approved items of posts/content. The system seems to be working well, items are appearing in the approval queue as they should, until today One member signed up and posted a basic, rude text post, so nothing unusual about it, but it was posted immediately, reported by three members then we actioned it. Well, I've been racking my brain for four days trying to figure out how to change the border color from gray to white in the graphic attached. (Red arrow) Or, how to indent the content so it doesn't butt right up to the border line (Green arrow). I've been all over the css files and even the html files but can't seem to find them. BTW: the same thing of padding is occurring in the "Add Announcement" fill in Box...attachment enclosed. Are IPS able to explain (if possible) how we can run two installations of an app or plugin (if the developer allows)? So, a few of us have the two accounts (for whatever reasoning) and I have a couple of plugins I wish to use but I cannot install via the Marketplace or receive updates. This wasn't an issue before 4.5, but is there a way around this for clients? Can purchases be swapped/moved over? Obviously, I don't see this being an issue if you have one account and several licences. However, I don't really want to buy the same thing twice. P.S. This isn't another bash at IPS & the Marketplace...

We've just been approved for the mobile app so I've installed it on a couple of devices and tried it very briefly. The first thing that surprises me is that it doesn't carry any of our get-up - our colours, our logos, anything. In fact if anything it is simply in Invision colours but nothing that would lead someone to understand that they were on our particular forum. The second thing that surprises me is that none of our AdSense advertisements seem to appear. Is this by design? I read somewhere that in some way carrying our ads on this kind of app might be a Google violation – and if it is and I'm afraid that we won't be using the app and we won't encourage people …

Hi, I've gone through the settings in the ACP but I can't track this down. When a member adds a photo by uploading from their phone, when another person quotes the post with the photo, we get only this graphic instead of the actual photo again. This only started with 4.5. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hey fam, quick question for you guys. So, one of my biggest insecurities with upgrading from 4.4 to 4.5 is the ability for new members to sign in with Facebook, Twitter and/or Google. Wondering if anyone has experienced any hiccups with this? Or did it work just fine after the upgrade. For me, it's been a very useful took and I'd love to keep that momentum. I noticed a child theme inherits the initial parent "Edit" configuration (i.e. Button colors, text colors, etc). Is there a way to keep/update this inheritance throughout parent edits? I have two themes: Responsive (parent) and Desktop (because some of my users refuse to go Responsive). My only effective change is setting Responsive OFF for the Desktop theme. The rest I want identical to the parent Responsive theme. This does work for things such as custom CSS and HTML changes but not for whatever falls under the "Edit" button.
