So I’m trying to figure out the best way to list a bunch of items that allows members to rate and review. I saw the Pages has this capability but wasn’t able to figure out the best way to do so. Would an alternative option be to create a forum, create the item name as a topic, and allow the posts to be reviews? Is there a rating option? is there a way in pages or somewhere else to have the reviews be set up more like an Amazon, this user 5 star, here’s the comment?

Hello. We're looking into re-opening our forums to new users and want to make sure the email is working. Questions: 1) If we use PHP as the delivery method, I assume that means it will send from an address like forums@ourdomain.com. How do we configure this? I don't see where we would enter the credentials on the forums. 2) Is there a better way to send emails? I see the option for SendGrid but not sure what that is.

Is there anyway to remove the dates from forum posts? See attached screenshot of what I want to remove. Or maybe there is a addon to remove this date? It's just so in your face and some forums are older yet still lots of valuable info in them yet people see the date and think its old info.

One of my forum users wants his posts from before a specific year deleted. From what I can tell they would have to be done manually, but there are thousands. I could delete all of his posts but he would prefer to keep the more recent ones. Is there any way to just delete posts from prior to, say, 2010? I'm thinking perhaps there's a plug in might do it? Any ideas?

Hi, I'm trying to use my forum as an oauth2 server, the problem is the other application (the oauth2 client) is making request with the OpenID standard, it is possible for invision to support the OpenID standard? I can only configure a generic oauth2 server... Am I missing the option somewhere? Thank you

Hi - Back to testing 4.7.12 on the devsite and I am playing with creating events in Calendar. I have tried a number of different sizes for the cover photo shown here but nothing seems to properly fit. I even used Meaure It to calculate the height of the area, 200 px, and then resize and image to those dimensions but it still doesn't work. What have others done to properly fit an image without losing most of it in the drag to where you want it mode? Thanks for any thoughts! Brian

Does it show to all users, if so is there a way to disable that? Kind of annoying to have to go to that step to visit a website. Also means google bots etc can't crawl my website anymore and will affecting page rankings?

My site data has now grown. I have two options. Move to a bigger hosting plan or offload to Amazon S3. If I offload all files, data, and images to Amazon s3. Will it affect my Google Image links? Will links for photos in Google and other search engine still work? Or will my site need to be re-indexed by Google? Is there any negative side effects from doing this? Will all the local data automatically be deleted after moving to Amazon s3?

Good day! First a little background - I work for a small software company. We just launched a user group with all of our users and set up a community site for the group. We also launched a monthly webinar training series. I know that our site allows for live topics and I'm very interested in that. Also please note that I have basically no knowledge in live streaming and the regular meeting series with lots of people is still very new for us. Now for my question - We currently use Google Meet for our monthly webinars and this is working well. I upgraded to 4.7.16 a couple of days ago. A customer purchased a ticket for our conference overnight and has contacted me about a mistake: he's been charged twice because the conference ticket appears as two goods purchased once each. You could put that down to human error (although that would require somebody to commit the action of clicking on the quantity counter, so seems unlikely) but what's caught my eye is that it's the same good listed twice with a quantity of 1 rather than listed once with the quantity showing 2, as was the case prior to upgrade: Could somebody in Support please look into this for me?

Hey guys, A very simple question, when images are uploaded to the IPS suite, is any form of compression undertaken? I am trying to eliminate an issue where clear uploaded images to the site (through adminCP as part of a custom award app) are appearing as it they are a lower definition. Of course this can be a server side setting or even the app in question, but I just want to remove IPS as a factor or indeed ad it as a factor for investigation. Many thanks, P

Does anyone know if there's an add-on of some sort that will scan uploads for potential malware and/or viruses as they are uploaded? Preferably one that will auto-hide an upload and generate a moderators report if something is detected so that it can be investigated.

Is there a way to edit the /tags/ folder or page(s)? It has a noindex hardcoded inside <head> and I am not able to remove it because I couldn't find template/block or anything related to this. Do you know where I could find and edit? (for example: https://community.nursa.com/tags/shifts) Thanks!!

Hi folks. Is it possible to get posts from Open Clubs listed in the latest posts widget? If so, how? If I change Clubs settings to show content areas everywhere, I only see the first post of the thread. I'd like to have posts from open Clubs showing normally in latest posts, unlike closed Clubs that show only for members.

I am looking for a possibility to offer paid articles on the site. The workflow is simple. The user creates an article in Pages database. It is hidden for all except for staff (pre-moderation). We (the staff) review the article. If it suits, the user can pay. The invoice should be generated. After the payment is completed, the article is instantly shown on the site. Hello, I think these databases in clubs are really very well done. However, there is currently a bit of chaos because really every club member can write in it. Is it possible to set it so that only club moderators can write in it? Or let the club admins choose who can write in it. Kind regards, Vakarian
