I am very pleased with all 3, now that I have finally been able to get them to install well enough to use. Board--- I wish the edited by line would be in that block, along with the reason. That is about the only thing I think looks "off". Well also in standard editor, there is a ton of blank space above the post entry box, for some reason. I personally like most of the features. Obviously we can't try admin notes yet though, and I have no clue where they would be placed. When someone says they "ban" a member, I don't know what they are saying. The only options anywhere are "suspend", as far as I can tell, other than having a banned "group", but moving someone to a…

What a nightmare, even after installation and setting it up ( on a new database ) and then installed the release of the Gallery beta, I got nothing but errors and a broken board. I immediatly got this:- Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class class_xml in /home/httpd/vhosts/royal********ers.co.uk/httpdocs/Forum/sources/api/api_core.php on line 0 (obviously website protected with stars by me), now I have an orange box where the componants should be stating it needs GD2 set (which Is) and that the paths to the images and uploads dirs are not set but they are. First of all, I would like to apoligize if this has been covered somewhere else. I've done some searches and just keep coming up with the resize box color (basically). If this is addressed somewhere else, please post the url. I understand the need and the thinking behind the image resizing in posts and signatures. It can be very annoying when someone mucks up a thread with a huge image. There are times however when an image needs to be viewed in its full size. I've noticed that when an image is resized, it is not clickable or anything to view the full size image. I can personally think of instances where this would be nice. I guess I would just like to be able to click …

Well to save me going through the trouble of posting like 10 screenshots and spending 20 minute explaining something that is difficult to explain, I'll just give you a link. Click here and wait for the page to finish loading, you have to wait for everything to finish loading otherwise it won't work. Once it's finished look in the first post. You'll see a thumbnail image which will look just like this: Click it, and see what happens. I think something like that in IPB would be amazing. :D

Well it seems as if 2.2 has finished me off, I am unable to get the Ioncube version to install the Gallery and therefore buggers up the board, tried the Zend version and it wont even install the board fatal error straight away, I guess its just not meant to be yet I have the new version of Ioncube 3.1 on my server. What a nightmare. I personally am now very disappointed with this upgrade, but then again Im just one person and my opinion does not count.

Hello, I get this error after I uploaded the board files of ipb 2.2 beta 2: Fatal error: Unable to read 23634 bytes in.... I have been told that this is because in uploaded the file in ASCII mode, so I deleted. And in my FlashFXP in options-->preferences-->Transfer I change the Transfer Mode from Auto to Binary (image). But I steel get this error. What can I do? Thanks

I invited some of my Moderators to the test board to help me test things out. Well, one of them is having trouble uploading. I have the permissions set to unlimited upload space, and yet, when he tries to upload, it times out. I have no trouble uploading though. Are there any more settings, besides the obvious ones, that I should be looking for?

Lack of contrast on editor buttons

For people like me who need glasses when using the computer, it's a lack of contrast that often makes things hard for us to distinguish. The new buttons in the editor are just a blur to me, why did you change them? If it ain't fixed ... etc. etc.. Sorry, but l really don't see the point of mucking around with these things, there was nothing wrong with the old buttons, they were clear, and everyone knew what they were for. Please consider those of us who need glasses when doing these things. Just two more things whilst we're on the editor ... shouldn't the width default to 100% instead of a fixed size, that way it fits every screen instead of members having to ex…

I know that IPB has that ban URL feature that you can stop certin type of URLs from being posted. But can that same feature be exapaned to ban URL's in the Website Link in your profile and in signatures in IPB 2.2

Calendar Time Zones

Can we either have the option to: a/ bypass time zones so that the date entered is always the date seen by calendar and rss or b/ Enforce time zone setting in all calendar entries. At the moment the time zone can only be set if you set a specific time for events therefore for some countries an all day event and a ranged event sometimes show up on the day before in the RSS and for other time zones.

#1) Have the ability to make a poll public. Who voted for what is recorded, and displayed under each result. #2) Have the ability to hide results before and after someone has voted. Maybe have a time when to start showing results or something. #3) On multiple choice have the ability to choose the min and max of votes required for a poll.
