I noticed today that you can add attachments to reports in the IPS tracker in the IP.Board section. Any chance you could also enable them in the other areas (the IP.Downloads and IP.Nexus trackers don't allow them, can't say for sure about the others). Would make uploading screenshots much easier :)

Note: This is the second time i post this. I posted in the appropriate section and yet someone felt the need to delete or unapproved my original post. As a paying customer, I believe I have every right to post my opinions of the product i spent my hard earned money on. If you still feel the need to use your uber l33t mod powers, the least you can do is post and tell one of your own paying customers why this kind of material is not allowed here. I would like to see the ability to manage who sees ads within each ad code area. For example I might want everyone to see a forum view ad but only have guests see a board index ad. As is stands now, it's all or nothing. More control would be a strong feature.

Please see http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic/287067-link-wraping/page__pid__1840069__st__0 As the internet slowly moves to longer URLs, with better descriptions of the content, truncating the link's text should be an option in ACP (either enable/disable, or enable and x amount of characters, with your default of ~35 characters). It's easier to see what content your link is going to if it's longer than the truncating number, especially if it's all from a domain with a long name, and multiple links from the same website's directory within the same post.

If I give a group permission to post HTML. If I activate HTML in a forum for those who are allowed to be able to use it there. If we already have code tags for displaying code (so no reason to tell IP. Board to parse it). Then why not simply auto-allow HTML when posted to be parsed (used as html - not code view) in a permitted forum by a permitted usergroup instead of: It would be much faster if the board just knew what-is-what (permission wise) & intelligently allowed it (when permission has been already granted) and with a quick popup just ask "RAW HTML" or "AUTO HTML" when posting. Recently I noticed that Invision Power has changed its forum domain from forums.invisionpower.com to community.invisionpower.com. This reminds me of a minor grammatic issue of the use of the word forum. I checked the dictionary which says forum is usually singular.So is this part of the reasons Invision Power turned forums to community as the new sub-domain, besides a strategic consideration that the board should reflect more of mutual interaction between Invision Power and clients? vBB's community has been using 'forum', the singular form in their server path, but it seems that they do not have a sub-domain like forum.vbulletin.com (they only set a forward function). …

Remove Editor if BB code is disabled in a specific forum. If i set a specific forum to not allow BB code it seems completely illogical that the editor offering all the BB code options is still viewable to users who try using the editor and then post numerous messages saying that the editor is broken because none of it works.

It would be nice if there'd be an option to have reputation viewed by users themselves and not the rest of the board. I know currently it's based on member groups but I was thinking something along Adriano's PM on Reputation mod with the added ability for admin to choose if the reputation giver will be known or not. For example, if I give Matt rep point, noone else but Matt will know that I was that person, There are mods like AH Reputation and PM on reputation but I'm talking core IPB feature. Any plans on introducing it?

Yea, I know vB has this - but the idea behind it is actually really really good. It prevents the user from having to upload the same content several times. It gives you sort of "your space" on the server and whenever you create a topic, blogpost or anything else that currently supports attachments, you will be able to attach any of the previous uploaded attachments. This is great when creating blogposts and want an image from a post you created, or vice versa. Even when creating new post and want to attach something you attached in another post. Hi there, Sometimes, some members on my board are only here for spamming other members with private messages... which is again my forum rules. Hopefully, there is the "Alert" system, that works perfectly. However, the spamming members are using very subtil techniques to gain the confidence of their targetted members, and they often convince them with false arguments. And in this case, the targetted members don't use the "Alert" button. As a board admin, I can't and don't want to look into my regular members private messages. Hi, I remember that on IP.B 3.1.1 it was possible to show the thumbnail of an images on the gallery through the 'share' button... now it is not longer possible and the Tech support blamed on facebook for this. I believe that for a gallery it is essential that this feature work as before instead of showing always the same image (which doesn't capture any interest and doesn't communicate any information about what we are sharing). Could you please do something? it is very important. Thanks

Following on from my bug report, which wasn't actually a bug (ie. working as intended), I would like to see polls changed so it's possible to view the results without casting a NULL vote when you haven't voted. If there's a need for the current behaviour (which seems odd and un-intuitive IMO), then an extra option is needed during poll creation. Please post a reply if you support this proposed change, as it's more likely to happen if many people want it.

I'm wondering why you guys took the articles section down from the main links. I've gone to those articles time and time again to get tips on how to do things, and it was nice to see some of the forum knowledge harvested there. I even wrote two articles myself to help contribute.. http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/articles.html Where are you linking to those articles now? I'm kind of surprised that you replaced the basic article approach with having to download full files in the marketplace. Why would you do this or am I missing something.. ?

In browsing my 3.1.3 settings I saw a setting for how many invites a user group can have....but cant find an Invite feature that is included within the default installation package. When attaching an image to a topic, in the topic list it appears with a paper clip. My suggestion would be that when attaching a media file such as youtube the same paper clip or an equivalent to appear next to it as well..

Hey team, Been a happy camper for almost 3 years now :). Anyways, I was wondering if the Ad Code integration could be used a bit better. - For one thing, I don't just put ads on it (I have my affiliate link exchanges as footer and an announcement as header), but I do put ads on different places. Now here's the thing. What if I wanted to only show the link exchanges and the announcements only? Would it be possible if we could usergroup-exempt by an ad-by-ad basis?
