Sometimes with IPS I just want the option to remove a feature that tends to confuse users and kills traffic such as sort options. The software is forcing me to make a post, download, product etc into a popularity contest with my humble user base. - "Most views, comments, purchases etc" are useless when you are selling content to a sparse audience that has already paid a premium to view the content in a step-by-step fashion. We want to show/sort content based on our needs—not user curiosity. This is also confusing the heck out of content creators uploading photos or downloads to an area where comments and/or reviews are not permitted, yet the sort option is there…

This feature causes some bad effects. I can write what I have as observations, but that's not the reason for this topic. I have a question - what is the reason this function does not have a value equal to zero, ie. off. The minimum time for this cache is 1 minute. What should an admin site do if he wants to exclude this cache?

Please consider to add a lisp code (syntax highlight) to the Code editor. Sine years we ask for it, this can't be to difficult surely. Must music (coding) systems are written in Common Lisp. Our Forum needs this option very badly.

If subscriptions are forced for registration process, the link from the register button, should go directly to the subscriptions sign up page and not through this redirect which slows the page from loading. E.g this one

Awesome work with subscriptions, it could be even better with a few changes. 1. A way to feature a subscription e.g "Most Popular", especially as users like to be 'nudged' on what to select, 2. Have the ability for a free subscription which bypasses the cart pages and uses the regular sign up form. This way you can use the "Force Subscription purchase when registering" setting and show free signup alongside the paid ones. 3. Add the ability to add HTML to the Subscription Plans' description rather than plain text. It would be incredibly beneficial to add/remove in bulk from a group. Currently group management (and iAwards) have to be performed individually. It would be nice to go to a membership group, view the list of members, and add/remove any from that view instead of having to go into each profile and adjust it.

It would be incredibly beneficial if the member search functions (any of them such as calendar RSVP, tagging a user, adding/removing from groups, etc) could search across all fields: Display Name, Email address, and custom profile fields (which might include first and last name)). This would make it easier to select the correct person even if the display name is not known and does not match the real person's information.

In our community (recently migrated from 3.x to 4.4.2) we have a lots of reports about TypeError: window.localStorage is null[Learn More] root_library.js.a6b4893f65078091d71919b6cdd2567e.js:15:150 that cause after a TypeError: ips is undefined[Learn More] root_js_lang_1.js.4720e043db5682bf10e246e4bd60bba1.js:1:1 and totally break the possibility to use the editor. localStorage it's disabled by privacy-aware browser extensions. Hi there, I don't think this is possible at the moment; but it would be great to extend the functionality of Pages to Clubs, this way one could add Databases (including its views / templates) or Pages as components within Clubs. Do you know of any plugin or workaround that allows this?

Shouldn't there be a way to reset password within the upgrade routine login? For the second time I just ended up in a situation where I forgot my pw and the site wouldn't load, due to errors from having the new files up, so the only place I could have a page load was the login for upgrade pages. Turns out I had an even older version than I thought on that site... 4.1.16. So luckily had the files to reupload that version and get the reset pw to work. Hi Please bring back the ability to setup a free subscription. As there’s no way now to have a tiered subscription page with a basic free memebership option. Also there’s no way to bypass the paid subscription to create a free registration if you enforce it through the registration process Thanks

Hi guys, I am currently looking into ways I can add a notification service to my board. iZooto seems like a great opportunity and they have great support. They do have a monetization plan and profit sharing that goes along with it. I haven't seen anything on the developer portal for integrations with this app but I think this would be a great addition to your community enhancements area. There is also another service called pushcrew, which I haven't studied yet. Custom Fields for products / packages that are pre-defined by the owner / admin. An example would be a simple status where products can be assigned an online, maintenance, offline status and you can handle requests to said product accordingly depending on status. (Using the REST API to check if a product is online and functioning but currently custom fields can only be used to control product stock levels).

While ips miss native app and push notifications possibility, I am thinking if my members use Rocket chat mobile app, that resolve the native app and push notifications problems, in other hand through rocket chat app will help my members continue visiting and use my ips website. Maybe this is an idea for a developer. A block that holds a list of blocks and rotates through them? This could allow you to keep your sidebar simple, and feature a different list of stuff on refresh. Article List, Gallery Images, Videos.... ect... Keep it fresh in the sidebar and maybe drive more content discovery? Just a thought....

Admins can of course log in as some member to check things out particular to their account. I would like to see a feature that allows an Admin to Log in As <group> so that once in that state in you can see the site with these permissions, vs having to have a set of "test accounts" I staged a category and forum but only visible to me after a week i was wondering why there was no traffic or responses I realized that I forgot to make it visible to members.
