Hello, Has there been a change to Invision subscriptions? I have two invision sites. They are the same subscription, and were purchased at the same time and cost the same. I've been a subscriber of Invision for a few years, although not needed to make many config changes in the last six months. I just went on one to make a change to a database and it says "This feature isn't available on your package level". The other site allows me to edit databases. I've searched my inbox and can't see any emails from Invision at all so I'm not sure what has happened? Is this an error or have subscriptions changed? Than…

My blood pressure goes up every time the blue or red announcement of an Upgrade suddenly appears on my Board. I’ve hated Software Upgrades since I bought my first desktop Mac way the hell back in the 80’s. Yeah, I’m that old. And during my career as a commercial artist/graphic designer… Software Upgrades were always a hand wringing process. So I have Software Upgrade PTSD. I’m reading about issues doing the auto Upgrade to 4.7.0 here on this Help Forum. How stable is the auto upgrade for someone who only utilizes the Forum app, does not use any third party plug ins, and is totally native to the IPB software…and…uses the IPB Cloud Hosting? Asking for a friend.

Im trying to move to an upgraded server (self hosted my own hardware) Having an issue after moving all folders and the db. Hi all, I would like to have some assistance with the following, i have Google ads running on the board. The sidebar has a problem with some of the ads that are showing. The content of the sidebar breaks out the skin (ipstheme) I can't figure out what i need to change in Google or in the board to fix this.

When php 8 or 8.1 is activated the front of the site shows only a white page and sometimes shows error 500. I have to revert back to php 7.4 for it to work. all plugin and apps are off. Can you check error logs to see what's the issue? Reoccurring system log entries may be indicative of a problem that should be addressed. Im receiving this error : The rewriting does not seem to be working. This may be because you have not configured your server correctly, but may be a false error if your community is not generally accessible. Check friendly URLs are working, and if they are not, ensure you have configured your server correctly or contact your hosting provider or server administrator for assistance. The forum also breaks when I enable "rewrite urls" Im being told I need this to work in order for zapier to work--can anyone please help?

Hi all Ive stupidly started an upgrade on a site and it doesnt meet the requirements. How do i cancel the upgrade until i resolve the issues and keep the community running? Whenever i go to the site it says an upgrade is in progress but i cant complete the upgrade due to a php dependancy Thanks

Hi, quick Q for the experts :). I am currently on Invision 4.4.10 (i know, old, etc... life and work have gotten in the way of upgrades the last 18 months during Covid). We have a 20M post site so we want to be careful on upgrading. We plan to upgrade on 4.7.1 (or .2) once any remnant bugs are fixed. So maybe in a few weeks. Currently we have the following config: PHP: 7.3.33 MySQL: 5.7.38 Redis: 5.2.1 I'm not sure on PHP/MySQL version support between 4.4.10 and current. Are there any suggestions on the upgrade order? Ideally I would love to upgrade Invision the normal way with the above server config and then upgrade PHP/MySQL after that... But …

Hi there, we seem to be having an issue with our site. I upgraded to 4.7 yesterday and today the filter section of the forum stream has been buggy. I tried to lo into the dashboard and it says the upgrade hasn't been finished. I try and complete it and it throws out this error: ] It doesn't matter which one of the buttons I push it loops back to this page. My site uses an Activity Stream as the primary home page. We have a site defined default stream that members can override (which updates the link to the far right of the bread crumbing on the page as an effective "quick link" to it). Is there any way a member can define their default Activity Stream and have the site's default homepage land there for them as opposed to bookmarking or doing a multi-step process of visiting the default homepage and then clicking their default stream on the top right?

We upgraded our test site to version 4.6.11. We had 2 members post Anonymous in the same forum topic. Each post showed "Anonymous" for the poster display name. It is confusing; it seems like the same person posted both posts. Is there a way to make Invision use a different display name for each person posting anonymously?

Hello . Tell me what can be and how to fix it, namely, I write to technical support from the site, it redirects me immediately to the windows mail area, and if you send a letter, then after a while you receive a notification that the letter has not been received from technical support. it was not sent through the site, but earlier a window for writing a letter on the site popped up, now it does not pop up, my license is still active and has not expired
