    We used this functionality in our Marketplace up until we closed it. However, looking in PayPal's docs, the functionality for Payouts does still exist.

    I would check the application and module permissions first, as that is most likely what you are describing here as the group would not have access to the app/module in question. Can read about this at the link below:

    I apologize for the absolute ridiculousness of this thread.  IPS support has been great but the universe is clearly screwing with me this week.

    We're sorry for any inconvenience. We have been hit with a run of large-scale Distributed Denial of Service attacks against a few customers that seemingly attracted a lot of negative attention. We are constantly improving our mitigation systems, but there are rare occasions when there's a delay while the system mitigates while minimizing disruption to legitimate traffic.

    We can provide the tools and you can decide how to use them. Google taking forum content seriously after years of "user generated content" being rated down can only be a good thing overall.

    I'm always hoping a dev will come up with an app that allows an upload that goes directly to YouTube, Vimeo, etc and then embeds the video URL into the content (topic, etc).  This saves on server/storage space while also eliminating the browser vs device incompatibility issues.  I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for it, I'm sure many would and collectively it would be worthwhile for the dev.

    Yes however all you need to do is change the file extension from .mov to mp4 and the files become play the files. So the files are perfectly playable in Chrome, it's just that Chrome does not understand the .mov extension.

    I agree - although I suppose that it would be nice if there was an option in the Invision Community to automatically convert .mov file extensions to .mp4 so  that unknowledgeable members could have a seamless experience. 🙂

    It is for software issues. On our Cloud, you would use the support as that is a little more private for matters like DNS entries, etc... 🙂 .

    Yep, as Randy mentioned, we just need those records you want to transfer with your domain and we can set those up for you at the same time.

    That can be done. What would happen is that once the data migration is done and you have tested everything on the temporary URL, when you are happy you would change your DNS servers to point to IPS. At the same time you can give them any additional records you want created such as MX records or any A records or CNAME values for subdomains hosted elsewhere.

    It largely varies but most are done same day, usually over in a few hours at most. My only recommendation is to follow the instructions we provide at time of migration. Most often where it takes longer or we have to delay to a different day is when our instructions are not followed.

    Long as your are not using your community in a sub-folder (e.g. example.com/community or something), all URLs will stay the same.
    Your community should stay exactly the same as the software will be the same. If you are on an outdated release, you will need to upgrade as part of the process before we migrate you. Of which, you would need to work with your developer to upgrade the theme templates, if necessary. 
    If you have any issues which are a code issue with a customization, you will need to work with the author to resolve it. If it is an issue of the migration though, say you forgot to place a third party plugin's file in the backup we require, we can certainly resolve that for you.
    It's a fairly straight forward process which our team will outline to you when you submit your request to our sales team but that process is usually, we agree on a date to do the migration, on that migration date you pass us your database and folders the community uses (e.g. the uploads, plugins, applications folders) and then our team handles the migration. Post-migration, you review the community and then we assign your domain/sub-domain.
    Correct. We do not offer email hosting. We only offer a system to send emails out of our software.

    I sell ad banners directly to my clients. No DoubleClick Google or any of that.
    Is there or would it be hard to create a more advanced banner Ad dashboard for IPS.  Ad impressions per week, clicks per week and such.  The current system is very basic. It gives a start date and then total impressions and total clicks to date. More granular data would be super helpful.
    A better interface for the banners themselves would also be great. I would like to assign a client name to a banner and then be able to filter by the client and such.
