    Do you want to prevent a certain member from receiving private messages from everyone? If that case, you can disable the messanger for that member. If you want to prevent a certain member from receiving private messages from other members, have a look at my app. It will allow you to force 2 members to ignore each other. You can select the messages option which will allow for blocking of personal messages.

    I am sorry to hear about your and your son 's health issues. Regarding the forum, what version are you currently using? Do you have other scripts installed in your server space besides Ipb? What type of hack was it? Besides overwriting of the forum files, a thorough checkup of your server space for any backdoors is in order imo. Do you have cpanel? If you do, check out their virus scanner tool and give it a go. Hope it helps.

    If you check the core_groups tale, does it have the example column?

    Shared login detector will check for multiple shares only when the users log in. MAD will check for users with multiple accounts users registrations, their forum browsing and when they post. i.e. it is global.

    Did you make a backup of your database beforehand?

    This app will detect only the shared logins among users. If you want to check for users who might have multiple accounts, have a look at my other app.

    I am not sure I understand what you mean. Can you please elaborate a little further?

    Did you set the permissions accordingly? That goes beyond the scope of the app. It is best done as a separate app.

    You can delete them all in one go with a sql query, but this method is not recommended. To do it properly, you will need a custom app.

    First, make sure that all the files mentioned in that screen are overwritten with those from the latest package. If you still will get the error, you should try and chmodd the aforementioned files.

    When you merge 2 members it says the following: After merging, content will be reassigned to the chosen member and then the other will be deleted. This will be done gradually in the background and not immediately. However, the content shouldn't be shown as made by guests in this case, but as belonging to the chosen member. Maybe the merging process hasn't been completed?

    As mentioned previously, it looks like the upgrader can't find the members table. If I were you, I would try to start the upgrade again. A word of advice, if I may, make first a duplication of your live forum to a test forum and then upgrade the test forum first to see how things will go. Like that you can take all the time to troubleshoot the errors that might pop up without disrupting the main forum. Once the test forum has bene upgraded propery, you can proceed with upgrading the main forum. Hope it helps and good luck.

    I am not sure either about it being the last version of the 3.4.x series or not. Regarding the error that you posted above: If you run into it again, the best way to go about it is to assign a default value (usually NULL) to the database column mentioned in the error message. That should fix the issue.

    The upgrader should add them automatically. Did you upgrade directly to the latest version, 4.7.6? Can you try to first upgrade your forum to the latest version of the 3.4. series and then to 4.7.6?

    The mentioned file is not a standard Ipb one a.f.a.i.k. The issue is that the ternary operators are deprecated without parentheses. The solution is to wrap them in parentheses. Did you disable all the apps as well? What version of Ipb do you have btw?

    If you deleted a forum, that action can not be undone anymore.

    Are you hosted with Invision? I don't think that they provide that service, but there is no harm in asking them. What you are asking for is very difficult, but doeable imo.

    Does that user have a secondary group as well by any chance, which does not have that permission?
