  1. Have a look at the Automatic and Manual Upgrade sections at the following guide.
  2. Hello, Can you give me temporarily access to your Admin Panel so I can reproduce it?
  3. Where in the server did you ftp it? Did you ftp it to the right location overwritting the old one? I strongly suspect that your forum files aren't overwritten properly and that is why you get that.
  4. The thing is, all the files should be overwritten and not only one or a selected few. That is why I asked above if you are really sure that all your forum folders/files have been properly overwritten with those from the last package. That could be very well the cause that the upgrade is not going through for you. What method are you using to upload the files and how are you doing it? Do you preserve the structure intact during the upload and select for the overitting option?
  5. Were you using a custom theme as default? And are you really sure that all your forum folders/files have been properly overwritten with those from the last package? Because it looks like to me that the init.php file is still the old one from the previous version.
  6. There is nothing to be sorry about. Anyways, it looks like your server meets all the requirements.
  7. You should point the browser to its location to run it. i.e. yourforumurl/nameofscript.php
  8. Did you try 775? You have to do it for all the files mentioned in the screenshot btw?
  9. If the repair query fixed it, you have nothing to worry about it being a disc space issue.
  10. You could use only the part for monitoring the keywords and don't read members pms. I agree, this is a very useful thing to have. I remember coding such an app for a member here who had the same issues that you described, but instead of spammer they were caused by their rivals.
  11. I can't reproduce this myself. Do you have a third party app installed that affects the display/order of posts? That could be the reason as to why it happened in your forum.
  12. Regarding the error mentioned in your screenshot: "Incorrect Key File for Table", it usually happens because of either a disk space issue or a corruption in the aforementioned table. The disk space issue is caused when the sql query is fetching data greater than the /tmp folder 's size. That 's the folder used for storing temporary tables btw. To fix this, you must change the folder location to a disk having enough free space The corruption issue can be be fixed with the query posted above. If that won't help, you can drop the table altogether from the dataabse then re create it and re insert the data. But if it is related to the disc space issue, it is best if you talked to your host about this, unless you manage your own vps/dedicated box.
  13. The easiest way to do that imo is through a ftp client or the File Manager section in your cPanel. To do it through a ftp client, I am using Filezilla, after you are connected, browse to the file(s) whose permissions need to be changed. Right click on the file name and then select "File permissions" from the drop down menu and set them accordingly. Whereas to do it through the File Manager , right click on the file that you want to change, then select Change Permissions from the list of options. Hope it helps.
  14. You have to check the aforementioned files and make sure that hey are chmodded accordingly.
  15. You are not wrong. This is not a built in option. You will require a custom app to achieve that. I remember coding such an app for a member here last year or so.
  16. How did you mess up with the permissions? If they are set up correctly you should be able to achieve what you are asking for.
  17. I had missed that post. What features did you have in mind? There are no new planed features to be included in the mod, but I can add new features inividually for an extra fee. Regarding the future, whenever a new version of Ipb is released that the appp will not work with, I am planning to upgrade it to be compatible with said new Ipb versions.
  18. Hello, Yes, it is still supported. Regarding the developement part of the question, I am not sure what you mean by it.
  19. It is a group permission. It can be found under the Social->Messages->Conversations allowed to start per day.
  20. This looks to be related to this: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/insert-on-duplicate.html What was the latest change/modification done to the forum prior to this happening?
  21. Were the queries run successfully? Can you check the server error log and post here the most recent messages logged in there?
