  1. Looking at the error message that you posted it appears to be the File.php. Can you check its permission and see what it has?
  2. It looks like it is a file permission issue.
  3. What logs would those be? If you click the Fix This button, what do you see?
  4. From now on the app will be supported only at my own forum. https://www.yourforumservices.com/index.php?/topic/14-who-read-this-thread/ I apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.
  5. Very well said. Another reason imo to always keep up to date with the latest versions of whatever scripts one is running on their server, is formost security and bug fixes.
  6. That is something that will require custom coding/manual file edits as it can't be done with the builtd in options a.f.a.i.k.
  7. You don't need the old version, if by old version you mean the files for the version that you are using. You can do a dry run of the upgrade, or a trial upgrade if you will, without disrupting your live forum by duplicating your main live forum to a test folder or a subdomain and proceed with upgrading that to the latest version and see how things will go. If you do that, you won't need to decrypt anything. That being said, can you please elaborate a little more about the issues that you have been facing as per your post quoted below?
  8. What version did you upgrade from and did you actually ran the upgrader? What theme are you using? If it is a custom one, maybe it is not compatible with the latest version? What php version do you have?
  9. Somehow I had missed this post. Are you still interested in funding the developement of the aforementioned extra options?
  10. From what version precisely? It would be better imo to upload the files through a Ftp client rather than the File Manager. Make sure that you overwrite your forum files with the latest ones and then to run the upgrader afterwards as adviced above.
  11. You are welcome 😊 What are you going to revert, if I may ask?
  12. In that case it means that your database doesn't have a defined prefix. For forums it is called: forums_forums, and for members: core_members. Hope it helps.
  13. The database prefix can be seen in the aforementioned file as mentioned above and it is the same for all tables in the database. You can't have tables with different prefixes. That is the case if the database prefix is left empty, but if it has a prefix, that prefix will preceed all database tables.
  14. There is no such option build in the software a.f.a.i.k. This will require a custom application.
  15. I think that it will benefit you greatly. Seeing your recent topics here where you have to deal with several issues, if you move to the cloud those problems will be a thing of the past. The biggesest adavantage for you will be that you will not have to deal with the tech side of things anymore, but concentrate on building and managing your community. Not to mention the security and the reliability. In short you will have piece of mind. Regarding disadvantages I don't see any at all.
  16. That will disable it for future archives, but it will not mass unarchive them as the OP asked. You can do that wil a sql query, although manipulating the database directy is not recommened unless you know what you are doing. First, make a backup of your database and then run the following query at the SQL tab of your phpmyadmin, or whatever script that you are using to manage the database. If you are using a database prefix for your tables, append it to the table name in the query posted above. Hope it helps.
  17. Yes, that way you will be able to identify the app that is not compatible with php 8. Running the upgrader did it.
  18. That error that you posted above could be due to the fact that you overwrote your forum files with those from the latest version, but didn't run the upgrade. Hopefully upgrading the forum will fix the issue. Let us know how it will go.
  19. @LiveG, if you go to the upgrade page, what does it say?
  20. Not just anywhere in the server. You should upload them to whatever folder/directory where your forum files are located and select the overwrite option. If your forum version was not the latest, then you should run the upgrader too.
  21. My question is "Why did you remove the Marketplace" 😄 (joke) Sorry if the joke sounded lame, but I couldn't resist it. My questions are as follow: What does a typical work day looks like for Charles and what do you do for fun/relaxation when you are outside the office? What do you find most challenging about your position/role? I am looking forward to the interview. I am sure it will make for an interesting reading.
  22. If you click the Modified files warning message, what do you get? A word of advice, if I may, it would be best to upgrade your forum to the latest version.
  23. Version 1.0.6 of has been released which adds a new option that will limit registrations from the same device. The new version is available at my own forum and the app will be supported there from now on. https://www.yourforumservices.com/index.php?/topic/16-mad-multiple-accounts-detector/#comment-16 I apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.
