We're sorry for any inconvenience. We have been hit with a run of large-scale Distributed Denial of Service attacks against a few customers that seemingly attracted a lot of negative attention. We are constantly improving our mitigation systems, but there are rare occasions when there's a delay while the system mitigates while minimizing disruption to legitimate traffic.

Thank you for your patience and ongoing business.

Doesn't AWS have protocols in place to mitigate DDoS attacks and keep sites up?

  2. When you are posting an Event with a physical location and you choose to Specify a location..., unless my understanding is off and I am missing something, on a desktop, the software places the Location data alongside the Event Details within the block.

If you post an Event with a physical location and you choose not to Specify a location..., on a desktop, the software expands the block to fill the entire block. Choosing to not fill out the Specify a location... field will result in Google sending you an Events structured data issues detected notice and potentially penalizes you in an SEO. Hence, it is advisable to fill out the Location data field.

Now, having all that dead space is not a desired look in my opinion and it would be much better to have a larger image/data field be more observable and thus easier on the eyes.

In mobile portrait view, it all displays as it should, the Location data field is placed below Event Details section of the block, so that operates as it should, again, in my opinion. However, in Landscape mode, it displays the same as desktop mode.

I should mention that in this scenario, the software sidebar is enabled.

    Thank you for your consideration.

As far as I know, it should stop prompting you have you successfully complete the puzzle.

I spoke too soon. It is now back again. And apparently more prevalent than before. Additionally, when getting the solved puzzle response, the page is not redirecting back to the site. It just hangs.

    Hello!

Wondering if anyone would be able to point in the right direction here- fairly new to using IPS.

I have turned off the Spam Prevention as I was messing around with the page builder, editing a lot of content in quick succession however am still being presented with a human verification process. After completing the process however, it remains on the success page stating I will be redirected shortly- I do not get redirected. I have then attempted to go back in and continue editing my page and are continually presented with this human verification process

I am also trying to upload an image in one of the blocks on the page editor, and am continually met with "Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file." with the code -200 | I have attempted removing the block and re-adding, deleting the page entirely, and have come to no avail.

The system & error log aren't giving any errors. My "Get Support" page is showing no issues.

    Thanks!

Close facsimiles of your problem are being reported in other threads in this same sub.

  5. I am getting the prompt repeatedly this morning. Other issues include not being able to edit posts. Today is not a good day for issues, please fix ASAP. Thank you.

    ^^^^

The puzzle prompt that arises will not solve the first time, it has to be loaded a second time no matter what.

I couldn't even edit my post above, here and I tried immediately after posting it.

    ETA: and it merged it...

Could contain: Page, Text, Computer, Electronics, Pc, File

for clarity... It only merged after posting a new message

    Posting
We've all been involved in a busy topic where you're keen to see what replies your latest post has. Select packages on Invision Community 4 can see who is active on a topic and who is typing, but you have to hit refresh to see the new posts added to the topic. If you're anything like me, then you hammer refresh until something new appears.

With Invision Community 5, this is no longer a problem. As you interact with a topic, new replies are automatically added to the topic without needing to refresh. This one feature brings the conversation to life, and you get a real sense of other members interacting with the topic at the same time as you.

    CleanShot 2023-12-21 at 17.06.43.gif

Question on posts showing without having to refresh.

This sounds like a very nice addition. The question I would have though, is where is the last read cookie set? To the last post on the page when it was opened or to the last post automatically added? I can foresee complications arising in either scenario.

Thanks. Questions aside, v5 looks quite impressive.

Even a site with hundreds of users online at a time are not accessing the same page/content AND also coming from the same physical location.

Guests from, say a 300-mile radius, are accessing a sole server and getting cached pages.

It is possible to have a national/global appeal and for it to also be very localized.
