I'll add an option for this to the next release
-
This will be fixed in the next release.
-
Yes, this app can do this. You'll have to create a new group, move the member who should be able to manage the approvals to this group and allow this group to manage applications.
BTW, we're aware that this isn't the best way to handle this and this is going to be improved in a future release. Then you'll be able to assign members for each separate application which will be able to manage the submissions without making them moderators. -

Somehow I got it to show and I think it was by re saving the list.
Thanks. I wasn't able to reproduce it, but since more people are affected by this, I'll try it again and try to reproduce it.

I finally got around to getting this set up. I like it very much; I am now able to bring all of my project management for my site onto the site itself.
Would you prefer to receive feedback here or on your site?
Priority support is given to the website Fosters.Tech, which is preferred because we can track issues on an individual basis.
Support topics can get messy, but we try to respond to everyone

It actually... and I hate to say this because it makes NO sense... just started working out of the blue. The blue being a bunch of page refreshes.

I have 3 applications that have been submitted, yet from the ModCP, the approval queue is empty...none of them have been approved though.
Hello,
they don't appear in the approval queue (yet. I have to admit that I like the idea)
They're only shown in the ACP and in the ModCP => Applications section -
I have probably found a way to use this without the pages application;)
Keep an eye on the next upgrade if you're interested into this feature and if you don't have the pages app installed -

I meant when you look at the options on the AdminCP, you have the Approve option but no deny one. I can screenshot to show it.
Thanks for clarification. TBH, the plan is to remove this process from the ACP and to provide all the features in the frontend, that's why we haven't put that much effort and time into testing the ACP.

Are you using the recent Beta? If yes, this is a known bug which only happens if you use the "Hide closed/finished items from the list" setting.
Please disable it till we fix this. -

A suggestion to add a "Deny" option next to the accept option, There should be configurations for when an application is accepted or denied so that you have those move the post into a sub forum etc.
I have an "Accepted" and a "Denied" sub-forum in which I move a post when it is approved or denied etc. This would be awesome to have.
That's already possible in the ModCP

I have added field type say checkbox
where is the option to give values
I want to give them option - select from the list of states only one state
You have to use the options field
The show details feature was removed from the acp, everything is managed now from the ModCP in the frontend. I have removed the button for the next release.

Thanks, I can confirm this https://fosters.tech/projects/item/522-wrong-link-from-acp-to-message-member/
I'll release tonight a bugfix release.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.
Do you mean if there's a way to apply again if the "Allow your members to apply only once" is set? -

@Fosters I've just tried this, set it to one group - the only option I selected on the settings was the usergroup. When I saved and reloaded the option was ticked to say disabled and the group was blank. I selected the same options and clicked save and reload and it saved the settings. But, I was then as an admin awarded the trophy, and the usergroup I had selected wasn't awarded...?
What do these 2 features say

Going by them settings I will only be able to award from 1 day, unless it can use '0' and it detects as soon as they've registered?
Yes, it would work for
- Trophy for Months and Years - I think a simple drop down to choose from would be good. As it will detect from when they registered.

Group Member Promotions - When a member earns 100 posts (example), I have a group promotion in place. It will be good to see that they also get a trophy based on their group. We've got Admin and Mod - But being able to select your own groups would be nice
That's already possible.

Can't you already use the "registered for x days" criteria?

Works as described!
One feature addon:
If I use the email variable {suite_url} in email texts and I try to link the {suite_url} text to {suite_url} (=will be inserted as link), I get the following link in the preview email:
http://%7bsuite_url%7d%20/
Is this only in preview? I think it doesn't parse the variable as soon as it is used in links.
Are you still seeing this? It works fine for me

That is great! If they have permission to approve but do not have moderator access where do they approve the application?
You could remove all the permissions except the one to manage applications.
Click on "Uncheck All" to remove all and then give them only "Application Forms" perms.- Josiah Wallingford and Joel R

@ZatroX sorry for this. We planed to remove the ACP area and move everything to the frontend, but then we changed our plans and have forgotten to finish this.
8 hours ago, Josiah Wallingford said:How do I set this up to allow specific members or roles approve the application? Right now only my moderators can do so. I don't want all of the roles that need to approve applications to also have full moderator access.
If this is not possible could you please add that functionality?
That's not possible yet and I'm not sure if I would really want to do this.
They don't need full mod access. You can give the members modpermissions to only handle the submissions and nothing else.
