ATM the problem here is, that I'm not saving the form data anywhere.
The admin creates an application form with all the necessary fields, the member submits the form and the data are only posted to a topic, the system doesn't know anything about the data the user has submitted and there's also no page in the ACP or frontend where all the filled data can be seen.


Quick poll:D @here How many people would be interested into such a workflow? I could consider this for a future version if enough people would be interested

Oh, there will be a widget in the next release.  I was concerned by the permissions, but since we're showing "all public bookmarks" on a users profile, we could show the same results in the widget.

Fosters Crew is pleased to present the newest version of Favorite Content Bookmarks v1.1.0, available immediately in the IPS Marketplace for download.  The newest version of Bookmarks takes community bookmarking to the next level with a major feature: Categories.  

Categories will help your community's users arrange and organize their personal list of bookmarks.  Before, all bookmarks were clumped together into a single, long list.  Now, users can define new categories to sort and categorize their bookmarks as needed.  Categories can be named anything your user's want, and can include a mixture of both public and private bookmarks.  Users will see the new bookmark categories on their "My Bookmarks" page.  

 Categories can be added in two different ways:

• Add bookmark - As soon as a user bookmarks an item, options will appear to either save into an existing category or to create a new category.  This allows users to create categories 'on-the-fly' during the bookmarking process.  
• My Bookmarks - On the My Bookmarks page, users can manage their bookmark categories by adding new bookmark categories. This allows them to manage and add multiple categories from a single location to organize and view all of their bookmarks together.

Categories can be edited and deleted:

I was aware of this issue since april and it was fixed in april for the next release, but I wasn''t able to provide a new bugfix release, because of the way how I increased the version ids for the next release.... Anyway,... this was a bad experience and an expensive lesson and such an issue won't happen again in the future:D

Patch to fix an issue where deleting a member breaks:

Please replace /applications/projectmanager/extensions/core/MemberSync/ProjectItems.php

 with following file: ProjectItems.php

This affects actually all versions and is fixed for the next release. I'll upload the broken file later today.

Chinese spammer posted 11 threads today.  Saw an email with the 11 threads.  Went into the member page and flagged as spammer.

Now I see this on my main board:

Doing a mouse over it reads "-11 queued topics"

When I click on it I get "There are no topics in this forum yet".

Nope, nobody mentioned this till yet. Thanks, I'll take a look at this later today.

It would be great to be able to flag Korean also and maybe selected phrases.  The Indian "healer" posts tend to have some phrases that are the same in every post or reference some Hindu God.  I would be great to have a phrases option.

Yea, folders are an member exclusive feature, it doesn't matter if the link is public or not.. all public links are shown on the members profile.. The folders are an feature exclusive to the current user, they're not shown on the profile... that's something what I'll probably chafe in th future... but ATM it's only relevant to the user.

An update to stop any further confusion : Based on the first feedback, we're going to change the 'categories' term with ' folders' ....It makes more sense to call it folders since they're private... similar to PM folders...

It works indeed, but there's no bookmark link. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way, to edit the pages database templates via a hook. As you see in my gif,it works if you add it manually to the template, that's why  I had to improve this for my next release... It will still require a manual template change by the admin, but it works ?

Text categories for sure. I don't think the colors will help, can you imagine the rainbow fest on the "My bookmarks" page, I don't believe it will help a lot. Similar for the tags. But properly implemented categories with expand/collapse toggles will allow anyone to store tens of bookmarks and more in a neat and efficient way. 

Edit: Actually colors can be helpful if they are not that obtrusive, maybe if you can color a small square at the beginning or end of the bookmark and not the entire row. 

My current solution will freak you out  ??
More information TBA tomorrow or this weekend. I need to test my asskicking,freaking changes with some 3rd party themes to make sure that it works there too.

(Fosters Crew tried to make everybody happy, so there will be categories and colors and some crazy changes like unicorns and rainbows ?-  Sorry, don't take me too serious today, and don't quote me on the last sentence. It was a too funny discussion with all involved people till we made a decision. I think that this the next release will make everybody happy:D 

I'm planning currently to improve the "my bookmarks" page to make it easier and faster to find the relevant bookmarks...

ATM we're debating about tags, categories and colors similar to the one from the content messages feature

Yes, it is working, but I'll not post any instructions yet because I'm going to improve this further for the next release.

Unfortunately not. Pages Templates can't be edited via template hooks, so I couldn't add it there, but you could edit your database templates and just add the bookmark link to it. I'll test this later and post further instructions if it works.
