SJ77 reacted to Randy Calvert in Is there anyway to see send email history when using AWS SES with Invision?
Unless you’ve setup SNS notifications and something to process them (like SESdashboard.com), there is not logs of delivery, opening, and clicking of emails by default.

SJ77 reacted to opentype in Embed a video stream/chat/conference in a post?
It’s because you are focused on the conferencing tools, which are either not meant for streaming to begin with or only offer streaming for a lot of money.
Look for streaming solutions. On platforms like YouTube, live streaming with multiple people (and open invites) is a very normal thing and like I said, there are tons of free and commercial solutions available which can feed into platforms like YouTube. Online solutions for this can even push the stream out to all big platforms at once.

SJ77 reacted to teraßyte in How to add credit withdrawal option?
That would require some kind of modification. Or you could enter both manual option in the same field.

SJ77 reacted to teraßyte in How to block someone from replying to PM messages
There is no setting to stop them from replying. Depending on what you want to do there are 2 options:
You can disable the messaging module completely for the group in the Core application. Doing so they will lose access to their current PMs/content though. Have a modification made to also stop them from replying when they can't start new PMs.
If you want to let your members still see their old PMs then you'd have to go with option #2. It's easy enough to make the plugin, send me a PM for more info if you're interested.

You probably should post in another forum: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/431-support/

SJ77 reacted to My Sharona in I need to split a large topic into two topics
Again, just me and what I might do in this scenario...
Select the last 20 or so pages (prior to those on a partial page load), just before where you want it to pick up, split them off into a different thread, lock the newly created thread for however long it takes you to move the prior posts from a partial listing page (and then opening the newly locked thread), so it can continue on in that context. Then as you get time, move the rest of the prior posts. At which point you will want to work forward so you get to select entire pages of posts.
Good luck!

Thank you for the additional information.
Unfortunately I need to crop the first part of the thread and not the end. Perhaps I can come up with some SQL that will simply allow me to hide the posts

I don't believe they have addressed this matter as yet, someone will correct me if I am wrong.
I did add a minor edit to my post above incase you missed it.

SJ77 got a reaction from My Sharona in I need to split a large topic into two topics
I must admit that 100's of clicks is better than 1000's of clicks but is this really the only solution?
There is no easier way to manage splitting a large thread?
-
SJ77 reacted to My Sharona in I need to split a large topic into two topics
Clicking the box at the top of the replies will check every post on that page. I know it is probably not the solution you are looking for but it will reduce the "1 by 1" option by a factor of 19. If it were me and I had to do it that way, I would do the last 10/20 (20 clicks will move 400 posts) pages or so first just to get the split thread started and the discussion can continue, in context. When you move the rest, it will update as the move progresses.
Additionally, by working backwards, it enables you to select all posts on the page, until you get to that cutoff point. You're probably locking the thread with the first 7500 posts anyways so, you could do it at your leisure after you get the secondary thread started.

SJ77 got a reaction from My Sharona in Looking for personal stats plugin/app
Firstly thank you for posting these resources but these are not what I am looking for.
The stats shared above are to display to OTHERS how active a respective user is.
Also the stats shared above don't measure how well the content is being received by the community, IE: User engagement. It's only showing how active a particular user is.
I am looking for personal engagement stats. IE: stats that a user can see about themselves to indicate what activity is working well and what isn't. USER ENGAGEMENT stats.
For example if I make 25 posts, with some attachments... I might be interested in knowing which posts are getting the most VIEWS, LIKES etc... IE: What content have I added that is getting the community engaged?
This will let me know which of MY contributions people of the community are liking and responding well to and which contributions are not working so well.
I can then take that information and know what to post MORE of and conversely I would also know the type of stuff I should stop posting.
A user would be the only one who can see their own user engagement stats. It's not on display for all. It's "Personal"
Make sense?

SJ77 reacted to Marc Stridgen in Dropdown menu question
I have moved this into another topic, as its not actually the same question. The author of that topic was trying to make them open on hover. If you have a problem with the way normal menus closing on your that are not customised, thats an issue.
There is nothing that closes the menus other than another click. Could you please test this in a default unaltered theme to see if you are still having the same problem? I suspect you wont be, and will need to then report this to the author of the theme in question

SJ77 reacted to Mike Mc in 📁 Bulk / Zip Downloads
Yes! Its pretty important for my community as we sort by file popularity, and some of our larger downloads contain dozens of files. So they get "down-ranked" only because people prefer the zip download option and they do not get a download count increment.
Are you able to give me a rough estimate on the ETA of the changes?
I'd be willing to test a pre-release version if you need to test.
Thank you!

SJ77 got a reaction from Adriano Faria in IS there a way to test a members ID in the template?
oh my goodness!!! THANK YOU.. you rock. Just what I needed
-
SJ77 reacted to Adriano Faria in IS there a way to test a members ID in the template?
Nope. That member_id comes from the status table and it is the member who posted the status and it’s only the ID. You need to load that member, in your first example, to get the link(). I would do something like:
{{$member = \IPS\Member::load( $status->member_id );}}
{{if $member->inGroup( … )}}
{$member->link()|raw}
{{endif}}
Not tested, of course. Using a phone now.

SJ77 reacted to Mike Mc in 📁 Bulk / Zip Downloads
@SJ77 - I know this works on my latest install of 4.6.10 - is it still not working for you?
@Makoto - I have found that doing a "bulk" download does not increment my download count. How difficult would it be to add this feature?

SJ77 reacted to IveLeft... in why is it so difficult to troubleshoot root causes of high server load?
Thats strange - Are you logged in as root in ssh ?
Try
ps ax|egrep "^ PIDNAME" Example: ps ax|egrep "^ 1572"
-
SJ77 reacted to IveLeft... in why is it so difficult to troubleshoot root causes of high server load?
Try ps aux
You could also (if not already installed) use in ssh
glances
If its not installed then
-
SJ77 reacted to IveLeft... in why is it so difficult to troubleshoot root causes of high server load?
Also use this
Put the process id number in this command and it will return a name of the process
ps -p PIDNAME -o comm= example: ps -p 1572 -o comm=
