Depending on what you want to do there are 2 options: You can disable the messaging module completely for the group in the Core application. Doing so they will lose access to their current PMs/content though. Have a modification made to also stop them from replying when they can't start new PMs. If you want to let your members still see their old PMs then you'd have to go with option #2.
