Daddy got a reaction from Senior2323 in Please un-nerf our upload size restriction
The issue was my quota. I removed a bunch of stuff to free up room which is why you see it only being 1/3 now. Would have never thought to check that. Maybe have a bit of red text letting you know your quota is almost full instead of just saying the file is too large?

Daddy got a reaction from BertT in Bug with IP.Downloads version history
When you delete a previous version on IP.Downloads file it throws a template error on the download button. You can also reproduce this by changing the changelog ID to one that doesn't exist and it'll produce the same error. Was able to reproduce it on the IPS website as well.

Daddy got a reaction from abobader in IPS 4.7.2 final major problem
You have to wait for them to push an actual update instead of a patch. For now you can update manually if you're self hosted.

Daddy got a reaction from AlexJ in IPS 4.7.2 final major problem
I've been running 8.1 for months now. Why are some of my apps locked to prevent fatal errors if they were already compatible?
Also why wasn't there any mention of this in the update list? The update just said Improvements to marking posts as solutions. I assumed it was a small update. I would say moving to php 8.x compatibility is a pretty key feature.. What's the point in showing anything if you aren't going to show anything useful?
Now I have 3 major apps that are the center of my community disabled waiting for updates that could potentially take weeks. It's just another failure after the next with these recent updates. Very truly ashamed how much IPS has devolved over the years.

@Luuuk Right, but that only filters the list of conversations. It doesn't actually bring you to the content.

Daddy reacted to Marc Stridgen in Error upgrading 4.7.1
No problem. Glad to hear you had the issue resolved.
While they are disabled, that doesnt remove the files themselves. In this case, it was a file causing an issue.
Im not sure on the conclusion you have come to with the release. It was only released 2 hours ago

@Adriano Faria if multiple users create a coupon with the same name, it will apply the same discount across all files for all users.

I set up a zap using "visible only" but it's still being called for all files regardless if it's approved or not.

Daddy got a reaction from SeNioR- in Error after updating
Update:
I disabled all plugins/apps through the database which fixed recovery mode. I was then able properly uninstall the clear log plugin but after further pondering I discovered the issue started after I cleared system caches, not when I cleared logs.
The actual cause ended up being:

This issue has been resolved in 4.7.0 which has recently been released. Please upgrade to that version to resolve this, and of course, let us know if you are still seeing any issues.

Daddy reacted to Marc Stridgen in TypeError: array_merge(): Argument #1 must be of type array, IPS\File\FileSystem given (0)
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

Fix submitted. Should be avaiable in a couple of days or so.
Tks.

@Jim M Seems like this is a bug with "Allow Multiple Files" for downloads. When enabling this feature the error goes away. Please confirm 🙂

Daddy got a reaction from alexxis in Stock Replies
I feel stock replies would be a much better feature if you could allow mods and admins to make their own instead of relying on them to be added in the ACP. You should keep the ACP portion to add global replies that are there by default, but a separate section (maybe in account settings) where our team can create their own that only they can see and use would be very helpful.
It would also add more personality to messages so not everyone is using the verbiage so it's not painfully obvious it's a canned response, which isn't a good look IMO.
