  1. Yes it is, and this particular image was a JPEG
  2. Sorry to bump an old topic but members running into this. Images flipped 180 degrees. IPS 4.7.10 BrowserSafari 15.6.1 on iPhone Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 15_6_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/15.6.1 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
  3. Thanks Jim, appreciate that as I'm not overly familiar with RSS! I misunderstood the enclosure part and read it as a literally enclosure of (i.e. enclosed within) the channel element 🙂
  4. Just to clarify, the IPS impl requires the optional image sub-element of channel to be populated in order to import the images per the setting I screenshot, rather than a feed provider using their own (generally yahoo) media namespace?
  5. OK I'm going to explore an alternative right now, will see how that does. Thanks Marc!
  6. It's really on the third party feed rendering side, nothing that is IPS' issue. My use case is that the sources I'm pulling data from post to both Facebook and their own website, however they post much more often and richer (more images, video, etc) posts to Facebook than their own websites. So my approach was to generate an RSS Feed from their Facebook Page. It works, however Facebook has poll throttling and there are delays in getting that data and making it available to IPS. Generally by the time it's available via RSS to consume by IPS, it's 12+ hours later, and it appears with that data/timestamp and is buried pages below on our frontpage of current posts and never gets seen by members. Plus the information is important to be available within a couple hours of being posted as my members base decisions off the information, 12 hours later it's far less relevant. However, as a helper, I can create a sidebar topic block or page block that can populate from the sources of that data within IPS so it at least isolates it for consumption by viewers. I'll keep experimenting.
  7. You can also manage permissions on each menu item rather than just deleting them. This way it's easier to restore anything you'd be interested in later although it's not difficult to just recreate them later.
  8. I have image handling set to import as attachments but it seems to link to the remote instead instead.
  9. I'm running a few third party RSS imports from non-RSS sources which results in a publishing delay. As such they are posted but never appear on an activity stream first page because they are buried by the time they are posted with their actual time stamps. Is there any way to override the posted time or any other solution to automatically bump an RSS fed forum topic when IPS ingests it?
  10. I've been getting hit pretty hard the last couple weeks on one of my sites. I have two sites on the same host with the same setup, yet only one is getting hit. The spammers are either pretty good multi-step bots or human, as they have to get through email validation and then post to get access to PMs. But their posts are garbage airline ads, so they quickly get banned. It's bad enough I've had to put admin approval on accounts for now.
  11. Last I tried Instagram videos would embed but Facebook videos wouldn't. As of March 2023, the devs were still looking into the issue:
  12. Alright I figured it out. The main issue is that it is a multi-field form in Events for example and other places where the same style form is used (i.e. marketplace apps). The required part is first selecting a country versus going directly into the address line and starting to type. If I do not select a country, I get the error include above. You can see in that screenshot where country just say's "Country". Once I select "United States", I can then type in the Address line and it will start to auto suggest for selection. However once I select something, I still sometimes get that same Google error with the same error message but the auto suggestion does appear to work. Once I select the correct address, it will fill in the rest of the form and allow me to submit it. After that, the map displays as it should. I'm guessing the times it worked before, either I selected the country and didn't realize that was part of the issue or it was already populated with United States (which does happen in a Marketplace application I use).
  13. I think the odd part is even the working community is failing often too, but it does work some of the time. The other thing is not all APIs are consistently failing, which in itself is odd. 2 day snapshot from the semi-working site:
  14. IPS: 4.7.9 Browser: Chrome I am testing Google Maps integration on two different sites. One works some of the time, and other times it doesn't. I just set up the second one about 30 minutes ago but it's seeing 100% error rates on Places API. The first one was setup last night (12+ hours ago). Billing is set up and OK. API keys I believe are set up correctly as far as I can tell and identical config on both sites (minus the keys themselves and domain restriction on the Public Key). Private key is set to None restriction to allow for dynamic IPs from host. I'll get an error like this on both sites with Places API, and other times on the one site it will work. I have tested with the default theme and disabling all marketplace applications and plugins one at a time. No JS errors in console when typing in the address, and no network errors when retrieving JS files from Google (all 200 status) or otherwise. Last hour of API calls during testing: Anyone having similar issues or any suggestions? Easy to test with Events in Create Event and typing in the address line. It should auto suggest addresses as you type. Edit: Also tried in Incognito mode and see same results. Works sometimes, most of the time see that error.
  15. As if the spammers are watching this topic, suddenly they changed their timezone to a US based one.
  16. Just noting amidst an active spam attack that many of the spammers have local IPs (VPN?) but their timezones are set to places like Kolkata India. Any way to set a Spam rule to check timezone to enforce a moderator approval? The chances of a user being outside a US timezone in my case is basically zero. I know not applicable for all (i.e. worldwide sites), but for us, it would cut down on that spam attack angle.
  17. Thanks @Randy Calvert and @Matt Finger So it sounds like the strongest differentiator is in the listing and landing page, and a large gap between page_view and content_view could indicate visitors simply refreshing/reloading the main landing page for updates but not actually diving into the content (or at least diving into content far less than 1:1). Probably an expected pattern overall, as not ever landing page load will have content every user in that moment wants to or has time to dive into right then and there. But too large of a gap could indicate your site's content isn't appealing to the larger audience enough, thereby not promoting clicking into content to view it deeper. Hopefully I'm interpreting that correctly based on the implementation. In any event, appreciate the feedback! 👍
  18. What is the difference between these two? content_view has a much lower count in GA for me. @Matt Finger
  19. I'm looking to track specifically a new member registration as an identified "conversion", but am unclear as to how to do that via InvisionCommunity in GA4. I do see the following in my site's GA4 property Data Streams showing a measurement of "Form interactions" and that data is flowing. I also see the following events but I don't think "form_submit" is granular enough to track the registration alone, i.e. I believe it accounts for login form submission as well? Any suggestions on how to track specifically a member registration?
  20. OK so looks like a residual reference from the deprecation of hosting servers you linked to. @Marc Stridgen
  21. @Adriano Faria Click the Bell with the 2 counter, and then click the Notification Settings link on top right of that modal popup.
  22. Is there a way to run a check for anything else that may be missing I'm not aware of? Rest of Commerce appears to be working ok (at least the parts I use). This Notification Settings is something I can't recall ever clicking before, I was just looking at it as now I see System Log error notifications that I didn't before and many of them happen often (i.e. bots trying to access endpoints they shouldn't, etc). I didn't double check the deprecation tracker, I thought hosting wasn't removed yet and maybe this was done prematurely when I saw the nexus_hosting_servers table. But it appears to be related to that. The Commerce menus for hosting are gone now, so assuming this table (or it's reference in Notification Settings) is residual. @Adriano Faria do you get the error on your site(s)?
